I'm sure you are looking for luckydraw since winner prizes in such competition only the best can win.
I am not sure why you are even feeling this is unfair since you can't/won't compete in the first place.

For Hardware Encoding in the Plays.tv client, we require the following hardware to be present:

A quad core CPU or equivalent
2 GB RAM
5400 RPM SATA internal Hard Drive.

A GPU that supports DirectX 11. (to find out your DirectX version, refer to this Solutions article Here.)

And one of the following video cards (with the latest drivers installed):

AMD VCE Supported Video Card (AMD Radeon HD 7700 series and newer (some laptop-class HD 7000 series might not be compatible))
NVIDIA NVENC Supported Video Card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 series and newer (some laptop-class GT 600 series might not be compatible))
Intel Quick Sync Supported Video Card (Intel HD Graphics 4000 and newer)

For Software Encoding, support for DirectX 11 is also required. Raptr runs a quick benchmark at client start time to see if the CPU is capable of doing at least 480p live capture at 15 FPS. This will only be a factor if the video card technology requirement above is not met.

If I have Intel i3 cpu which is not a real quad-core cpu, I should have at least Intel i7, right?
If I have Radeon HD6970 then I need a newer card, right?
Why in their FAQ they said something about Raptr? It's an app for AMD cards (they call it AMD Gaming Evolved or something). I've use for about a year and uninstalled it because every update of this app caused PoE's crashes (every time I saw "Loading" screen, I couldn't get to task manager to kill PoE, I had to use Log Out in after CTRL+ALT+DEL, then log in again). I couldn't load a game. I wrote a few posts at their forum about it and they haven't done anything about it. PoE was loading only without Raptr.

--edit--
OK, I've found some answers and another interresting infos:
- yes, you need raptr app to record,
- "We are initially limiting Plays.tv clips to 90 seconds, because we think the coolest moments can be captured in that amount of time. You can save clips of any length, but to share them you’ll need to trim them." - I don't know if there's an option to trim or do we need to do this in different app...?
- "Yes, the Plays.tv client also supports software encoding. However, if your PC doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements for video capture, the replay feature is disabled." - so, I will not be able to see what I just recorded...?
- " Short answer: no. Raptr leverages hardware and software encoding to ensure minimal (typically less than 3%) impact on your system performance. - is it less than 3%" with hardware or software encoding?

Too bad, it's a really nice contest but I won't install Raptr again if it won't allow me to load/start PoE. I've never use recordins options while I was using Raptr so I don't even know if it could work with any other game. I just wanted to say that Raptr app s**ks (usually didn't allow me to load PoE) and the support is so bad. They also changed their whole site look and you can't find any of those old threads on their forum now. They have probably deleted them all.

Why after installing Plays, it crashed my game, closed browser and tried force me to restart Windows?

Can i record a video using other program and upload it on plays site to get a chance to win anything?

WOW, nice
Just tested the Plays.tv client in Final Fantasy XIV (just happened to be the game that I was playing) and at 1080p, 60fps, 50Mb/s the quality isnt as good as I was expecting, but its good enough. And I didnt notice any performance impact having it recording in the background.

For some reason I cant use Shadowplay, because I always play in window mode and Shadowplay wont let me click the checkbox for desktop capture, so Plays.tv wins it for me atm. Might try OBS using my capture card and recording with my second computer and see what kind of quality that gives me.

Cool competition anyway. I just hope gameplay + music will do, cause I am boring as fuck and hate talking.

...Play.TV

Would of been nice to use Shadowplay

www.Plays.tv actually and you can use Shadowplay, or anything else, to record the vids and link your vid directory in the Plays.tv client to upload/edit.

Also, if you can't capture vids, we will have a component of the event where you get 1 entry per day just for liking your favorite highlights, so everyone has a chance to win.
