You fail to realise one important thing.

Cybil by default has no spelldamage.
Getting block just compensates for it, while for every other build speccing the same number of points into spelldamage in the tree would have added it to something like 100% on their weapon.

All other builds have 80-110% spelldamage on their weapon already with zero investment in the tree, while you need to get 50% block just to get to this level.

On the other note - will it be possible to use Three Dragons (for shockz) after taking Static Blows cluster? Anyone tried this on this build in particular?




Except that is irrelevant, Cybils was made to double dip, it worked the same way in the past when block Incinerate was popular. Using Cybils lets you get away with taking all the block you can, because you are double dipping, if i had 80% spell damage wand with 20% fire damage, with the same tree, would still be weaker than Cybils

To put in perspective, offer me your best mirrored spell damage/fire damage/projectile speed wand, i'll throw it in the trash and I'll keep Cybils, thats how good and BiS it is for this build :)

I dont care about the coil version, i'll probably dont revisit that tree until im level 95 and have a coil myself in tempest, i need to look at the gear i can get and the stats so I can minmax the tree properly

Cybil's Paw: Increased Spell Damage per 5% Block increased to 8% per 5% Block.

Incinerate: Damage increased by 65% to compensate for the shotgunning mechanic change.

Will definitely try this build. Thank for all the work.


Edit: Couldn't find any good unique Jewel for this build. Possibly Brittle Barrier for 20% faster ES recharge, but 10% more damage at full ES.

Thanks for this build! I have been away from PoE since last challenge league and I thought incinerate was dead because of the shotgun changes. Looks like I'll be rolling another char with my favorite skill in this game.

It isn't the unique Jewels that you will be using but more of the magic/rare jewels that have the 2% block!

As for the flame totem nerfs there is the one in the patch notes:
Quality is 1% life per 1% Quality instead of 3% life, which is no big deal at all and then Rory told ziggy the damage nerf was 20% damage reduction at level 1 scaling up to no change at level 20. So just less powerful early on.
How MoM+EB work with armour?
If I got 50% dmg reduction from armour and monster hit me for 200 dmg i will just lose 70hp and 30 ES or it work in other way?

I know it is best for the build, I use it on my Incinerator even without block nodes.
But it is only best because of its unique spell LGoH mechanic.

Wands can roll up over 100% combined spell+fire damage, 21% cast speed, proj speed, and 1% fire leech. And now, also +added damage to spells.

read on reddit that incinerate was 100% buffed in beta, now is just 65% buff? so it's a nerf compared to beta?

Oops...was looking forward to trying it..but without spell echo...how much dps does it lose?
