Random new character... what?

I've never created this character before, just showed up... weird.

Same thing here - a character named "Swedge" shows up on pathofexile.com but doesn't appear on my character list in game.

Got the same issue a few days ago. I was playing on the beta league. I wonder if it's a randomized placeholder for the website when your loggued on beta server. Hope so...

Got one a few days ago. Was a level 1 witch named SuicideAngel. If it comes up again ill see if i can get a picture

Ive had this issue since the night i got my key!
When i select my Templar in Beta it shows my last Live charatcer is my Marauder i havent touched since it died in HC! (Bloodlines) And if i select my Ranger it shows my last live character as a Lvl 1 Scion i dont even have in live with a strange name with an underscore in the middle of it cant remember the name i can log into the Beta do it and tell you guys if need be! But selecting characters in Beta is selecting random characters in Live or even characters that dont even exist in Live as last played! There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.  Logged in today and was freaked out to find a character I've never made as my "primary" on the website. I was sure I was hacked and someone had dumped my account. Checked my Char list and it's not even on there. Logged in and everything is fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IGN: Manthra_Ackbars
