Just checking back in again...
Thanks for the great tips and help everyone. I've been trying to find/buy better items in game. I have been using poe trade to help. I recently purchased these for 3 chaos orbs total.

Once I hit the level requirement I will duel wield. I also bought a spell echo gem and replaced my lightning penetration gem. My DPS has improved by over 1000 points. Next I am hoping to find or a good helmet along with a good 5L or even 6L armor set. The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

" Tool-tip DPS is not the best metric to measure your actual DPS. Lightning penetration gem DOES NOT increase your tooltip DPS, but assuming 25% penetration, it can increase you damage by 25% (when enemy has 0% lightning resistance) up to 100% more damage (when enemy has 75% lightning resistance). If you are doing damage of one element only, penetration gem is in fact one of the best choices of all. If I were you I'd remove Added Lightning, and put Lightning Pen, since if you are going to use Spell Echo, Faster Casting is scaled up by MORE modifier of Spell Echo. Added lightning adds somewhere around ~30% more base damage and in edge case is around as effective as Lightning Pen, when Lightning Pen is FAR more effective when fighting resistant monsters. In other words, Added Lightning will get scaled down by monsters lightning resistance. Hope it helps you making next decisions ;). You have to consider many aspects when picking your supports. " It does. +%physical damage will increase EK damage (any physical Glacial Cascade component). Increased physical ATTACK damage will not. Same as +spell damage does not increase attack damage. If there were +Physical spell damage, they would not work with attacks. Wording is the key. Keep an eye on it, because most of the stuff lies inside careful wording. Youre in standard by dual moonsorow for 5c and this 30% resistances helmet and a 5l for 1c, have fun doing lvl 66-75 maps.
