Desync Will Be Fixed !

Let's hope that even with my 150ms*, Lockstep will help somewhat.

I have heard great things about the Predictive (old) system in the Beta, though I haven't tested it myself. I've even seen quite a few posts where people are saying they prefer the predictive mode despite having very low ping. If you're playing with 100+ ping that's probably going to feel much better for you.

probably gonna stay in desync mode. Never has been a very big deal to me.

I done ok before Lockstep, although I did suffer from terrible desync in certain situations and it limited my options of builds and play style.
With Lockstep, I am free! the PoE World is my oyster, along with ANY skill I wish to make a build with. I love it! |

I never really had any issues with the game before. Sure it would lag once and a blue moon but it wasn't bad.Now I can hardly play, keeps kicking me out or lagging so bad when it comes back i'm dead. I was really looking forward to the game but it has gotten worse for me. Maybe i'll try back in a few days.

Even with Lockstep mode desync isn't completely gone, but it seems to be a very rare event.
I encountered one yesterday in The Climb in Cruel. Opened a strongbox, the mods spawned, I started hitting away and got rubberbanded back abt. half an inch on screen. My ping usuallly is around 35-45 ms and I didnt see a lag spike there. No danger to it, but it stood out like a sore thumb as I had not encountered any since start. |
