is this script sent to the server or is it just loaded into the client's memory space?
will there be bans if people load scripts which try to hack the client?

I think it would be cool to have an option for Chrome recipes to be shown like "3 link one of each colour"

Of course people get banned for hax. And i would like to think they store it server side so they have more control.

It dosen't make things easier for bots, nor harder.. It changes NOTHING for them.
Bot have their own item-filters built in already.
Just thought of a potential problem involving sound.

Currently the client is limited the the number of sounds it can play at given time. If this conflicts with loot drop sounds then things could potentially NOT get played.

Is there any change in the maximum sounds playable? Is there sound priority? Qued sounds?

you mean "a bigger attack vector"? nope, don't think you will have unencrypted communication with the server ever.

what's the max lines a script can have anyway? i've seen script templates going over multiple pages already.

How about hiding your loot from everybody else also? would help ground clutter. Many like to snatch others items and PA is supposed to fix the issue but why not tag it no view? Nice 6L drops you don't catch it you move on and a couple are waiting in the old area to take it as soon as you leave!

actually it's more helpful to let other people see them as you can see them linger around your item on the minimap which enables you to get it before the 5 minutes timer is over after every "permanently allocated" item is free for all wven if you're still in the instance.

Wait. Anyone else see that? Now why would "Hideout Doodads" and "Microtransactions" be needed on a dropped item script?
