Item Filters

On one Side this is a very interesting Feature & worked out in a great Way and Detail, on the other Hand I feel strange about filtering out a Part of the Genre-defining Core-Thing of these Kind of Games, the Loot.

I'm oldschool with this Stuff & will not use this Feature (as others like the Health-Bars, etc.) & wonder if we someday will want a Filter to show only the blue Packs that give good Exp? ;)

I don't WANT to nitpick, but I have to:

This could potentially be a turnoff for new players, or casual players.

I got a recommendation for this game and then watched some videos by Kripp about PoE before starting to play. The game looked all like I had seen it on Youtube, so I was only half helpless.

Now there is the possibility that if someone watches streamers play the game and then starts himself, that the game will look wastly different. Maybe the player will be curious enough to search for the reason, finding those script options. Maybe not. If he does, for a new player to understand the subtleties of PoE loot with ilevel and crafting and all that, is basically impossible. So most of the time, the new player will screw up his script, turning of "all whites" or something like that, and then will never find that needed rustic sash or something.

For this to really be good for the game (instead of being good for the legacy MFers) you will need a HUGE info page accessible IN GAME, maybe via the options menu, or a really good tutorial, that is highly visible.

The mere fact that you can potentially screw up and make the whole game an untainted paradise is really creepy!
