1.3 Budget facebreaker cyclone build, Uber killer

The main reason I decided to do this, was that I wanted to be able to kill uber without needing many gems, not having to rely on vaal IC so I can forget about having to charge up anything, and not having to do a lot of gear swaps throughout the instance. After searching for guides/videos of a facebreaker build taking down uber, I couldn't find anything, so being the first while using a budget build is pretty cool. I also want to make this viable for 1.4, for that reason I did not link spell echo to enduring cry, as you might not be able to in 1.4

We can have 21 second immortal calls, and we can benefit from the defences of a shield at the same time. Saffels and a rumis active is great for the vaals, long IC is perfect for the trio, and the combination of IC and 98% fire resistance from the fire shield makes the split phase in atziri very doable, as long as we dodge every single storm call.

Most facebreaker builds use an abyssus, which makes uber's spears capable of one shotting you if you get hit, we can't keep up an IC up all the time, so we have to save our endurance charges for the split phase. To answer this, we use a bringer of rain, which brings down the cost of the entire setup down considerably since you can get one for 1 ex.

You only really need to worry about your jewelry and boots, since we have uniques for the other slots. However, if you have a 5L belly or 6l and an abyssus, then it's a lot better than a BOR for the entire instance apart from the fight against uber. You need 30% movement on your boots, and you need the most flat phys as you can get on your jewelry, on top of that, you will need enough resists and dexterity and int, or you'll have to use points on the tree to cover for it. I rely on purity of elements for trash, and some resists from tree.

For uber and trio

Keeping up your IC and keeping track of your anti freeze potions is incredibly important, we lose too much dps if we go for anti freeze gear so we have to rely on flask. I like having anti freeze on a quick silver as it lasts longer, and consumes less charges than the other flasks.

This fight can be very tricky as where the vaals come up at is sometimes unpredictable, try your best to kill them when they are close to each other. Once you have enough charges, it's good to use IC so you don't die to the smash, and you need to use your topaz and rumi's to survive their damage, you have around 61% spell block with rumi's active.

Just make sure the cyclone guy never cyclones, by walking across the wall on the right side, and that your IC never goes off, the fight is incredibly simple

You need to try to dodge everything as often as you can, as you want your flasks for the split phase, make sure to come in on her at an angle to make her spears sometimes miss. You also need to keep your endurance charges maxed out at all times, it will make you ready for the split phase and make her spears do less damage.

I swap in elemental prolif, the reason I don't have it in apart from healing phase is mana issues, I don't have enough mana for IC otherwise. I also swap conc and aoe, and I drop a temporal chains totem. Blind from your BOR has a very interesting mechanic in the healing phase, if you blind a minion it will just walk around in random directions and not go towards atziri, temporal chains lets us benefit from this interaction more

Because of this, the healing phase will always end while there are minions still alive, you will need to take this into consideration for when you swap your gems back, or you might die

This is the hardest part, just make sure that your IC is up and then do your best to dodge every single storm call, if any of them hits you, you are dead. They seem to take between 2 and 3 seconds to detonate

Make it work for you and your gear, there's a lot of improvements that could be made, but the endurance charges and skill duration nodes is important

I will upload the full run tomorrow, in this run I did not have anti freeze on my quick silver, which resulted in me dying to trash when I had no anti freeze, before vaals. I also died once to atziri but due to a desync.

I went with Oak for normal for life
Attack speed for cruel, melee phys is fine too
and endurance charge in merciless

If you succeed or not is entirely dependent on you playing well. You need to farm your own hopes for practice, and only try uber when you feel that you are ready.

When you attempt uber I suggest you record it, and look at every death that happened in detail and think about what you could have done differently. And get back to practicing. Don't rush to uber, you need to practice until you feel 100% comfortable.

On the bright side, this build is incredibly simple to use due to our lack of gems.

Keeping an eye on your endurance charges, always be conscious about them, if you enter split phase without charges, you are completely fucked
