Couldnt someone use that helm with that Chaos to shield Chest? I guess they would need godly amount of ES on the shield to make it work.

Problem is it's an evasion item that gives health, so a CI character won't really want it (evasion means no ES, the health is wasted), and it also gives attack speed, so it's only useful for bows/melee.

I'm not understanding why this helm works so well with the new chest. Would someone please explain?

Since with CI (or the new chest) you never to go low HP, it's just a +crit +as +hp +dex helm.

They aren't reading the first mod correctly.

Personally I really like the helm for eva+IR based LS build. Sort of a less powerful but free Granite Flask when you get to low life and need to GTFO

But you really don't want to use that helm on a low life build. You just want to use it on a melee/bow character using Life on Hit and Evasion armor.

- When you get low HP, you do less damage and take less reflect damage if that was what took you low life
- When you take too much damage, you get an evasion (or armor with IR) to have more margin to get out
- It's a high HP helm with a nice attack speed mod otherwise

And I'm really curious on the design of the new unique map, can't wait for someone to find it. Tried my luck tonight, but all 7 maps I got were white :/

Yes, but you'd never want to be on low health with the helm, so if that's the synergy you're talking about, I don't see how that makes any sense at all.
