unique items *no longer updated*
" The monster has to be the same level or higher then the item, so if the item you want is level 62 then the monster must be at least lvl 62 to be able to drop it. Rare monster are two levels higher than what the normal zone monster are, so in this example rare mobs and the boss in a lvl 60 map could drop the lvl 62 item. But in a lvl 62 map every single monster could drop this item. There is no problem the other way around though. A lvl 64 Boss can still drop a lvl 5 unique. "Good point that I didn't exactly explain. Monsters have certain levels within zones. Normal Monsters = Zone Level Magic Monsters = Zone Level + 1 Rare & Unique Monsters = Zone Level + 2 So for the level 62 item, you can find the item from lvl 62 or greater monsters. That would be: Lvl 62 Rare Monsters in a Lvl 60 zone Lvl 62 Magic or Lvl 63 Rare Monsters in a Lvl 61 zone Lvl 62 Normal, Lvl 63 Magic, or Lvl 64 Rare Monsters in a Lvl 62 zone Any Monster in a Lvl 62 zone or greater This applies to any rarity item not just uniques. |

"Yes, and No. Unique items have fixed mods and fixed value ranges. So a particular item will always have, for example, 10-20% Increased Elemental Resistances no matter what level it's found at. It's possible to find a lvl 20 unique with 20%, and then the same unique again at lvl 60 but with a worse value at 15%. The only difference is that the lvl 60 unique can potentially have more sockets. Last edited by FaceLicker#6894 on Sep 11, 2012, 12:55:45 PM

" No, the stats are not affected by level. Most unique have a range on a couple of the mods, but the level of the item has nothing to do with the roll on them. However for chest armour and two handed weapons the item level will still make a difference as it wil laffect the number of sockets it can have. For example if you find a limbsplit at lvl 13 where it first drops it will not be able to have more than 4 sockets. If you find a limbsplit in a lvl 55 area it will be able to have 6 sockets, but the rest of the item will be the same as the one from a lvl 13 zone. |

boots seem rather cool and useful.
Those new twin axes are really good and I've been waiting for twin items to appear like that. Only thing is that I'd say/think that the additional block chance is rather unfitting, but not a big deal. I'm really hoping GGG adds more scepters, staffs, 1-handed maces, and wands. Out of all 4 of those types there's only 3 uniques, and 1 of those uniques is really niche (not used for attacking like staffs typically are used for). For instance, they could add an elemental dmg scepter like "the lightning rod" that I suggested which is a quite necessary unique in my opinion since there's nothing out now like it. (scepter/mace that deals lots of converted damage, or shocks/burns/poisons) Fresh cakes for all occasions.
