1.3 Budget 2h Uber killer, the hybrid tryndamere cyclone build, Deathless kill with 5L belly!

Hey guys, I've been wanting to do uber for a while. This is my only character, and I love playing him, I wanted to be able to kill uber in the next temp league using easy to get gear. For 2 handers in terms of killing uber, the two main options seem to be a crit staff build http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1105745 or a RT tree heavily invested into auras http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/933657/page/1. This build is another option but is much cheaper and I think easier to execute.

The main idea behind it is that with all the skill duration nodes, endurance charge nodes, and inc duration, 2 kaom's rings, and a endurance belt + lvl 3 enhance linked to your 20/20 vaal immortal call, it will last 30 seconds. If your vaal IC setup is in a disfavour, and linked to a lvl 4 enhance, it can go up to 36 seconds. You can charge up 4 vaal immortal calls in an atziri instance, and putting the gem in your inventory once it's charged up, will retain its souls for later use.

I charge one up at a time, and just swap the gems when charged, I use 3 separate 20/20 vaal IC's

So there's 4 opportunities to use vaal ic, I use one for the 2x vaals. Although I don't use kaom's rings for vaals because you need to have your resis capped for the vaals. I also use one for every split phase of uber, making it 3. You can use one vaal ic to cover two split phase of uber if you have enough dps and have some luck. You can kill the trio easily by running in with max endurance charges, and then casting IC, going for the cycloner first and then the duelist. The cycloner does a lot of chaos damage if you give him the opportunity to cyclone, but if you walk along the walls to get to him, he won't cyclone.



The blood rage gives you a huge damage boost, as it boosts your AS when low life, blood magic linked to it increases it further, and if you have a disfavour, an enhance in it linked to blood rage makes it pretty crazy.

I think most things are explained in the videos if you watch what I do, but there's still a lot of room for improvement since I've only done 4 uber runs so far and I started doing normal atziri a week ago, and I'm yet to do uber with capped resists because my gear sucks, and I value the long vaal IC's, but I'm able to do the rest of the instance with capped resists.

Here is the tree - level 93 currently. I went with the life, attack speed, and endurance charge bandits.





As you can see, I use vaal pact, and the main reason for that is that I value phys to lightning very highly, as it lets me shock, having phys to lightning makes me reliant on life leech gem. You can shock the vaals, and you can shock the mirror and spear clone, and you can shock the adds in the healing phase. Although I don't think it's a necessity anymore as I managed to do the vaals with heavy strike (where we don't care about leech). Previously I did the vaals with cyclone, which is linked to blood magic, which can be risky because you can't use it at 1 hp, but it was completely fine for me when I was using the belly.




The gear I've been using, they're mostly awful, and I had to use fire resist aura whenever I needed to cap my resists (I don't bother with atziri because we need enough mana to run heavy strike) I do have a pretty nice belt that I paid 3 ex for though, it gives 1 extra endurance charge, but I don't think it's a complete necessity

What I've been mostly looking in my gear is just life/resis/attributes, the most attribute intensive gems is elemental weakness and blood rage, but they don't scale that much with levels while they scale a lot with quality, so if it's hard to find attributes, either get it from the tree or use a low level blood rage/ele weakness

Killing trash is pretty simple, just make sure your IC is up 100% of the time, if it ever goes off, you're dead, and you need to use your decoy totems

Vaals



The vaals fight is pretty simple, you put a decoy totem down close to the first vaal, use enduring cry when he comes up all the way, and then enduring cry again then turn into tryndamere and go fkin ham


Trio


This fight is super simple, just make sure the cyclone guy doesn't get to use cyclone, by walking along the wall, and make sure your IC is up all the time. It's very important to leave one big melee guy alive though so you can get endurance charges off him. This fight is considerably harder without doing that

Uber



For atziri, I would go in with full endurance charges and just try my best to push her into the split phase, it's been relatively easy for my belly build but when I did it with two tabulas, it was very difficult, I could have played better but having relatively low hp with low resists was not optimal

Once you push her into the split phase, you switch your chest to a tabula, which is in a full heavy strike damage build, and you activate blood rage, then vaal IC, kill the spear or mirror clone as you can shock them. You need to use your enduring cry once when killing the clone, keeping up your endurance charges is incredibly important, you need to be at max endurance charges, or in a vaal IC at any given time, that's why I went with the endurance charge duration nodes. When she comes out of split phase, if she doesn't go to healing phase straight away, she might spend some time casting a spell, if you have enough damage (maybe around 200k dps with my heavy strike setup while she is cursed) then she will more likely go into a split phase again after she finishes casting her spell. The more damage you do while you're in vaal ic the better, as it means it's damage that you won't have to do while you are mortal. But the healing phase completely messes this up for you though and makes your vaal ic void. So think of the vaal ic as a way to bypass the split phases, and as a way to get free damage on her.

Healing phase is very simple, I just switch conc effect for aoe and put spell totem linked to ele weakness, using spell totem takes a lot of mana, so it's only feasible using it in the healing phase, as you'd need the mana for heavy strike. Remember that you need to deactivate your blood rage when leaving vaal ic if you are using vaal pact, easiest way to do this is if it's in your weapon, as you can just hit switch weapon to deactivate it.

Playing this sort of style isn't demanding at all mechanically I think, but it will take some time to use all of your skills correctly. Just doing a bunch of normal atziri's is the best way to learn, but once I got used to it, I started killing atziri the "normal" way since it's a lot more time effecient

What I have written in notepad for gems, chest remains the same. The build requires higher than average amount of gems, but those are pretty accessible in a new league, since you can just level them up your self, to get vaal IC's I will vaal the IC when it's level 1 with 20% quality




I know that this is pretty much a guide, but I'm not that experienced in this game and maybe there are some places I can improve on apart from gear, so don't hesitate to bounce some ideas at me

You beat me to showing ppl that Uber can be done by 2H axes without crazy gear. And you even did it with a lower budget than what I have in mind. Very cleaver use of Vaal IC + bloodrage. Congratz on this ingenious idea.

Pretty much exactly how I got my first uberkill while back, but your budget is lower and build is more optimized(usually died 2-3 per run)
