Currently lv 92. Did many HLD pvp events. Always top 15 sometimes top 5. Pretty good considering my minimal investments and modifications into pvp.
2.0 ain't no melee patch.

Couple things,
Shock is dependant on critting with Firestorm and then the added lit from Herald of Thunder applying a shock, right? |

" Not necessarily crit. When you have herald of thunder up, my shock chance nodes (10%) can also apply shock. 2.0 ain't no melee patch.

Interestingly enough my first build this league was firestorm too. Leveled it all the way to 93.
I actually remember meeting you on high ratings in HLD pvp events. Tho my version is a bit different. More PvE oriented I should say. I grabbed Vaal Pact and all duration nodes.

I have way less ES on my gear but just enough to run lvl 21 arctic armour.

missing gems are herald of thunder in helm and reduced mana+herald of ice+discipline in gloves And I made a ton of math on the accord of DPS. And can say Enhance lvl 3 is one of the best support gems for us. If you can get your hands on enhance lvl 4 it is just absolutely insane. My links are: FireStorm+LifeLeech+Enhance+ConcEffect+incAoE+FirePen and for bosses like dom/piety/atziri I swap incAoE for PCoC for maximum shotgun effect. " Very nice. I thought of going for Kaoms Heart but I always prefer more utility skills, which is way more important in pvp than in pve. Ended up running Conc Effect + Stun + Block Pen on main setup, a enhanced 20/20 temp chain and CWDT+ curse on hit + ele weakness + frost walls for pvp. Against ppl with stun immune, one stun = death for them. 2.0 ain't no melee patch.
