[1.3] Oro's Sacrifice Flicker Fun
Have gone a different way:
Witch/templar (using witch) Mana and AA If in a 5L (using 4L) ignite chance is 92% without curse nor flask currently 82% in a 4L Flicker is 2750 dmg per use can clear easy up to 74 maps Im using cloak of flame and dual mokou...I would have loved tonuse Pyre but the shaterring prevent corpse proliferation. I also use molten shell in a 6L for safety (arround 40k chaos dmg/sec) No cwdt settup I use vengeance + wed + LL + ecoms You ARE my Bitch of burden!

yup shattering prevents proliferation but keep in mind that you ignite enemies all the time due to flickering, so even if few of enemies you hit shatter there are still high hp rares/boss that sruvive and proliferate burn to others
tested it and works great now have a short break from oro cuz got in hand mjollner and had to test it, but for sure i will come back here and make some changes i have figured out i like your setup, nice you also went elemental proliferation, it really gives huge clearspeed and safety against reflect without running purity and AA if played carefully:) also this build works great with around40-50% ignite chance, im wondering how its running in your situation:) Better dont quote me - often editing right after posting:)

Added into gems Increased bruning damage insted of life leech, this aoe damage is insane, way better clear speed!
Feel like leech from doryani belt is enough, eventually plan to add some corrupted ammy with fire leech Seething life flask with Eva/Ar flasks do the best job Better dont quote me - often editing right after posting:)

What's your attackspeed? I'm thinking about a combination of your build with VMS because both profit from armour and fire damage.
So I'd take vaal pact and a kaoms heart (non-legacy) and scolds bridle and jump around exploding all the time (hopefully) but i need to know the attackspeed therefore. (Multistrikes 2 additional attacks dont count so it would be 1 explosion every 3rd attack. |

I have to wait until Torment ends because i dont have a torment character/ would take too much time to level and gear in torment without low uniques and currency..
So you'll get results most likely in april. 5 attacks per second with multistrike? hm so It`l be about 2 explosions per second. vms lvl20 deals avg 2168,5 damage per explosion. We get 239% inc damage from the tree, up to 100% from scolds and up to 40 from kaoms heart means 379% inc damage means about 10,4k dmg per explosion so a gain of about 20k dps |

borrowed scold from friend, works somehow awesome very fun and boosting clear speed tremendeously, however not reflect safe:P i think i will try corrupt 20q molten shell to get quality VMS - its 30% to ignite with fire damage will boost tremendeously sustaining of frenzy charges i believe that VMS could work nice with following links: - inc.duration - moree deeps from concentrated effect/more aoe - inc.AoE - iron will - we have around 300 strength without items - around 60% increased spell dmg - fire penetration - empower - blood magic (mandatory for me as i reserved all mana) (my testing was VMS-conc.effect-BM-IW/FirePen-IncAoE) if any tries to build around oros + VMS + Scold i think it would be good to skip life regen nodes, link life leech gem to VMS and pickup vaal pact, also i think very important would be skill duration nodes passing heralds, picking up clarity and few mana nodes could make it run speels on mana and maybe even throw belowed by so many people Arctic Armour Better dont quote me - often editing right after posting:) Last edited by Evil_Kon#4115 on Feb 21, 2015, 8:08:06 AM

btw, need to use level 1 flicker strike, other way you take too high damage from scold, BM + my leveled flicker (level it till 20 to getlevel 1 quality) and support cost me normally around 90 mana

Hi nice build
i just made a build about oro's yesterday after finding none on the forums (guess i was wrong :P) check it out here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1206489 I went for burn+shock prolif which gives me huge dmg and i focused fully on armour (charges + molten shell gives me 77% phys reduction) I even play without Immortal call without problem. And i only have 1 5link and i use it on mana. Anyways nice to see more oro's action :D |

hey OP thanks for this build. I had made an Oro's templar a few months ago (St. Ignitio) that used this sword but I stopped playing him because he died so much
I recently re-made him with the free re-specc from torment (I play standard mostly) and I came up with a similar tree as yours. HOWEVER I followed your tree and the whole idea of using Flicker....holy crap this is fun. I flicker all over the place like a pinball machine. So fun. And I don't even really get hit too much because I'm simply not there anymore when they attack me! I have a 5L oro's with the old mods on it. I guess I should divine it or roll one with the new mods? (I have a couple of the new ones) I use devoto's helm, a rare chest with 131% armor, big life, and good bi-res with a crafted increased burn damage mod, mokus, gang's momentum, rare gloves, doryani's fire belt, and rare ammy and other ring. I tied using Searing bond in a unique unset ring, that was ok, but I like Moku's better. My gems aren't even 20/20 yet, and I can party with this build on level 75 maps, and I can do level 76 maps solo. I can probably do 78's, just haven't tried yet, thanks again op, this build is fun as shit. I think you really unveiled this sword's true purpose in life -- to flicker + prolif. the "downside" of the sword (increased damage taken) really isn't even that bad when you flicker all over the place. It's the obvious purpose behind the design of this unique. I've played a lot of melee, a lot of ranged (CoC, Bows, EK) and this flicker build is really fresh and fun to me. Thanks again.
