GGG, your guild stash system sucks, and really bad
Honestly I don't care much about party play, leagues, social interaction and trading, but the OP has my sympathy on this topic. +1

The best workaround we have is to have 75% of the tabs as locked for Officers only (the officer list is small). This is where the majority of the items sit. Members need to request from those tabs. The rest are just open to everyone. This gives members and easy way to give each other items on a whim (example, "anyone have a level 1 CWDT gem I can have?", Member responds with " Yep, just put it in the "free for all " tab." It's a little bit of the best of both worlds. Now if your guild doesnt have a ton of tabs, then maybe you have 1 open tab and the rest are locked but some sort of mix has worked for us for the time being.

Years after release we still cant get these basic features....GGG must be busy snorting large piles of coke off hookers' asses in the Bahamas with all the money we spent on gstash tabs and additional character slot...
Seriously, guilds are a huge draw for many players, those players fill out said guilds, which then buy stash tabs and character slots. Those players are then more likely to play competitively, rather then quitting on reaching endgame or even in the first difficulty. Guilds are a huge part of the community, they nurture and teach new players which helps bring them to endgame. At which point they are much, much, more likely to buy micros; cosmetic effects so they can look as cool as their guildies as well as stash tabs, which almost every serious endgame player ends up buying. However, we are still stuck with an extremely archaic guild system. Features like customizable ranks and stash logs have been around in games for nearly a decade at this point. I fail to understand how these features were not implemented originally with guilds. Having these features makes large guilds much easier to manage, which again goes towards helps scrubs to not be scrubs. Did I mention larger guilds = more character slots sold = more hookers and blow? (and a yacht!!) I suppose GGG is satisfied with their current profit/effort ratio. The only possible reason for ignoring a large business opportunity. Ignoring guilds is ignoring a tool to grow and expand as a game, both in competent players, and profits. Because it would be that much more info GGG would have to store and access, and would cost them server space & cycles, and some effort to implement it.
Apparently they'd rather make new MTX pixels every week or so. |

" Nah they have a drunken monkey who just continues adding sparkles until a 4k$ o/c beast pc gets 1fps. (MTX) Meanwhile GGG is on the earlier mentioned beach with earlier mentioned vices. |
