I have been looking into the timer and who gets the beta access and i think us people that are active on the forums have lower chance of getting into the beta. 90% of the people picked are either never on, or have never posted anything in the forums.

Not lower but.. well.. same.
And its good thing. I look this forum from time to time, but not like I want comment on every single topic and it doesn't mean that inactive forum members will be less valuable beta-testers than some spammers :)

Could be that a far higher percentage of people sign up for a key than actually post on the forums. By your calculations, I could argue that 90% of people don't make a forum post.


But in some ways I have to agree. They would be better served providing keys to people who showed more of an interest in the game.

And the flip side of this is being fair, and avoiding people spamming the forums with requests for keys. Already it's pretty chaotic.

And I know that passing out keys to the people requesting them would stop them asking, but is that really how you would handle the situation if you had developed the game?

I'm done. Too much Whoring of keys by Inactive Members.

Notice I didn't say grab, it's more of Whoring out. Amount of Inactives WHORING out the Website, WHORING out the keys but most importantly WHORING and DEPRIVING opportunities of many actives who is more passionate about the game.

I'm through with waiting...I'm leaving till a key appears in my inbox.
