I would like to note that in maps/high lvl maps (let's +75% fire res map) flammability is pretty useless. It wouldn't even lower the fire res below 75%.
As a comparison, I ran yesterday a +75% lightning res map on my BL crit char using Lightning Pen. I was surprised that the difference in DMG output was negligible. Penetration makes you deal at least 60% damage. If a mob has capped or over capped resists, you deal 60% DPS (75% - 35% from penetration = 40% resist). In the same scenario flammability does nothing. I would use both. For capped and overcapped resists mobs penetration is better. For undercapped resists mobs flammability is better. |

73 atm, will be hitting 75 this weekend, haven't gotten a second doryani's catalyst to wield at lvl 75 yet thou, waiting for a proper priced one :)

What DPS you have currently? Is HoA Burn Prolif efficient? Does it kill mobs by itself? Is the clear speed good? Fast? Every time I try to theorycraft a build like this, as I have tried in the past since release, I stumble upon the same issue. I need like at least 8 links to fit everything in.
My take on Infernal Blow
Infernal Blow: + Melee Splash (mandatory) + Multistrike (mandatory) + Melee Physical Damage (physical scaling) + Weapon Elemental Damage (elemental scaling due to 100% converted damage) + Fire Penetration (because we have 100% fire this gem is mandatory) + Life Leech (since no physical damage - we need to use Life Leech Life Leech can be replace by Warlords Mark curse So this is the bare minimum. Next we want to burn prolif. So we have: 1. RT + chance to ignite ++ Chance to ignite ++ Elemental Proliferation This setup requires 9 LINKS 2. Crit ++ Increased Critical Damage This setup requires 8 LINKS If you don't use neither 1. or 2. your burn comes ONLY from HoA. So you can't always ignite bosses and stranglers. What I have done in 1.1: 2h Mace AoF Marauder Infernal Blow + Melee Physical + Melee Splash + Multistrike With a 472 DPS Mace the DPS was 10k+ The character's playstyle was too slow for my liking. My conclusion: IMO RT ignite melee is kind of hard to pull off. Crit would be easier: IB + MPD + WED + MeleeSplash + Multi + CritDmg Maybe even swap 1 gem for Faster Attacks.
