Hi, just got a daresso defiance yesterday, is better to use it over a belly of the beast? The only benefit is that we can use cwdt+ic combo, against the life % and resist of the belly. What you recommend? Thx.

Single target is very strong if you have a wall to bounce projectiles off and shotgun with the KB explosions. Without a wall it's ok but nothing special.

Palace Dom is doable, Uber not. Atziri has been done before but there's better builds for it.

Probably get all the HP now you're higher level, you don't want to die. Then Frenzy charges, Wandslinger, and whatever else you want really.

Daresso's is amazing in 2.0, would recommend. Use Belly if you prefer though.

Thanks for the awesome build... I RIP my 70s Ice crasher char this morning (Tempest) and was gonna quit due to having no idea on what to play. Since cyclone and flame totem are everywhere and I don't feel like playing something ive played before (and ive played a lot). So there it is,my first wander I will ever play. Hopefully it turns out great in HC.

So sad that Frenzy is superior to Power Siphon. Even on a 2L it was performing pretty well.

i'm going to use this build as my first build in tempest, was wondering why piercing shots wasn't taken to possibly free up a gem slot and maybe use slower proj instead, since it was changed?
i messed around with the tree a little and took out the 2 points behind revenge of the hunted and removed depth perception to take piercing shots
just wanna know if there is validity in this change

Just wanted to add my thanks for posting this build. I just started my char, but I'm very excited about this build. First, it's simply wonderful that there's dedicated life/mana leech nodes in the tree. Mana leech has been a huge problem for me in 2.0. Second, I'm extremely excited about Daresso's. A buddy of mine had one drop last night. He sold it to me for cheap, and I 6S'd it in 5 jewelers =D. I can work on a 5L as I level. Until reading this thread, I had no idea that the old style of CWDT-IC could be mimicked with this armor. Third, I love that you can start using KB to great effect at lvl 30 with twyzel. That's a lvl 30 wand with ~100 phys dps, 10% crit chance, and an extra projectile! A lot of the builds I've looked into don't let you use your main skill so effectively at such low levels.

Quick question: is there any value to using geofri's crest for hatred/HoI? I imagine HoI/Hatred/Empower/Enlighten would be nice. Hatred doesn't really scale well with level, but HoI does.

Hello Oos and thanks for the guide. I'm currently 78 in tempest as a shadow and doing well with the build. I had a few question concerning gear/gems.

1. Right now I'm using The blood dance. What are your thoughs on these?

2. I was getting a higher tooltip w/ power siphon instead of frenzy. Maybe I did something wrong? right now I'm using power siphon/crit dmg/faster attacks/phys proj - if I find out that frenzy is more damage then I guess the blood dance aren't worth it.

3. Can you rank these 3 for your ideal end game armor: lightning coil, belly of the beast, daressos

4. I was also getting a better tooltip when using wrath... This was without my WED. would wrath dps be higher if I had a phys proj slotted?

5. Do you use curse on hit HoI? I feel like that with assassins mark would be amazing.

6. Right now I'm using WED instead of pierce. How important is pierce in a 5 link?

7. Your thoughts on the rats nest?
