Since you are playing Torment you might not want to follow the guide exactly since the OP is playing in Beyond and dying occasionally is not an option ;)

To get more DPS you can use different gems. My setup is this:

You can also use a modified version of the tree. Mine is this:

You have a valid point but I don't think I'd change the build in SC either. I've always like playing a bit tanky because dying at 85+ and losing exp sucks and this build already does crazy damage.

But it's up to player preference of course and in SC you have more options to get higher damage. I do like your variation on the build though, you can get higher dps with your gem/aura setup.

Level 78 right now and having a blast! Definitely one of my favorite builds because the for hasty clear speed (around 11K DPS on Kinetic Blast ATM with 6 Charges).

gear

I'm going to upgrade the jewelry first and then aim to get a 6L Carcass Jack in the future. However, do you think Maligaro's and Rat's Nest will make me too squishy by the time I start doing 76+ Maps? I want to keep them both because they boost my DPS tremendously but am willing to swap them out if they prove to be a problem later on. I'm sitting at around 3.7k HP right now.

Id pick rats nest and rare gloves. And heres why. With rats nest you get CC And ASP. Super good. You are almost going to need the life/res/acc on gloves, AND you can grab leech and attack speed on gloves as well. This is why I prefer rare gloves over maligaros.
I love pie.

Nice gear, stick with Mali+Rat's if you're not too squishy. But if you're going to replace one the replace Malis. Like xSyK0TiC said, you can get very good rare gloves, the provide a lot of utility as well as defense. Rat's nest has decent evasion, and on rare gloves you can get hp/leech/attack speed/phys damage/accuracy. Compared to just accuracy/hp/evasion on a rare helmet.

I just hit 94 after taking a little break. Gonna quit the game until Act 4 now. Will try and keep updated with the thread though, so post your gear/questions if you have any.

Level 94 tree.

Hey dude! Great build, nothing unique id say but very efficient phys wander setup :)! Been following this build and im pretty much destroying stuff with the following setup running:

What do you think would be the most effective replacement in gear? I know shield is lacking life roll but havent found better yet, not many for sale in BL. Maybe it is 6l belly of jewelry? Hook me up, very intrigued to hear what you have to say :)

Hey guys,

Playing this in Bloodlines and I'm wondering if Power Siphon is really that needed. As stated, Kinetic Blast is properly the best single target spell this build can have anyway. How often do you use Power Siphon?

Can you switch that for something else?

I was thinking maybe on a Frost Wall, or a Spell Totem Frostwall, or an other Cast When Damage Taken setup with a leveled Immortal Call and Enfeeble, using CWDT and Enduring Cry in an other one, with something else.

I'm rather short on budget since this is my first character, but I'm open to suggestion. Even keeping Power Siphon; I'm not against it, just wondering if it's really useful.
Im 100% sure you will do just fine without power siphon

me

I like my setup sniping and single target killing, got 40k dps with 6 charges on 4l siphon... it hurts.. and out in the open kinetic isnt that great single target skill..

i think you should try it out if you like it or not :)

what comes to cwdt and immortal call i think its a must have setup when you start critting alot you will kill yourself without the setup, right ?
You could indeed kill yourself, and die to 12389 other things, any hard hitters, Devourers, all of them. That's why I'm wondering if a second CWDT, improved, could take the place of a Power Siphon. I mean the ''regular'' one works fine, but I wouldn't spit on more defense instead of a spell I would never use.

Hi there, glad you enjoy the build.
Apart from getting a 6L there's not too much you can upgrade, your rings and gloves can get higher dps but at a high price. You didn't link your amulet, so make sure that's strong because it's a very important slot.

You could possibly gamble an exalt on your shield for a life roll. I wouldn't normally suggest that but it's at least 2ex to buy a shield upgrade for you anyway. Really nice setup though, good job.

Power Siphon feels pretty weak at first compared to KB, but it gets a lot stronger later with 20% crit damage gem and a leveled tree. I'd say I use PS/KB 50/50 for boss fights. KB is way better if you have a wall to utilize but that's not always the case.

You could swap out PS for a frost wall totem, but it's high mana, so maybe self cast frost wall with increased duration would be better. Test them out and see which you prefer.

With the good evasion/dodge this build provides, reflect isn't really an issue. I was running phys reflect maps last night no problem. Maybe if you have 20/20 crit damage gem in your KB links then you should worry.
But CWDT IC is required for this build, it's saved me a few times vs chargers and the phys damage beyond boss.
