I was curious how much this build will change after the patch comes out for the new content. I know for example they are changing Eldrich battery, im just curious if you have tested it on the beta at all / changed it to anything different when that comes out. Also do you think witch or shadow is the best start for this build?

It can, its just a real pain.

The Manacost for GC is so high that you will have problems without the manaleech from warlords mark.

Can´t really say that for sure, as they said they will change the values of Mananodes.

I guess that it will work, we just need to switch the gear from high ES to high Mana roll stuff.

Maybe have to ditch the Voidbringers.

Overall the damage shoud be even better with buffed Glacial and the qol changes to glacial to traval through small stuff on the ground.

Witch is a better start as spell damage is better for the build than elemental damage.

I´ll post a new tree for witch.

I need help with this build!
I start to say that i am back 2 days ago from long inactivity and i'm pretty lost in all changes xD

so, i followed your steps for spec ( i had a ice nova totem build ) and i invested all what i had to " respec ", dunno if you can't see my equip now in carrylafata, is what i'm using now. All my equip is on ES atm so i've a 5L chest that is the only thing "right" for this build i think, and i bought the wand u saied... if i use ice nova lv 18 i've 22k dps that is great, but what is difficult is that i die VERY easy...
what of all you say in description of build can help me to don't die so fast? i must use evasion equip or armor? and you say to keep glacial cascade low level but what you mean with this? i've ice nova in 5 link, it cost 127 mana and just wearing the chest i can use it for most than 13-14 secs without stop, so u think i can exp cascade more?

ps: what is AA? o.o

I am very sorry to tell you that, but this build was for Patch 1.3, we are in 2.3 now, more than a year later and lots and lots of changes in the game.

Allways check the Patch Tag on the build guide.

I can´t tell you anything about this build, i played it more than a year ago in a totaly different game.

Ye, pretty much. Idk, perhapse you can salvage that character... what Ascendancy do you have?

I mean i am pretty sure that a GC Caster can still be done maybe i can try to come up with a new tree.

i've not ascendancy yet... i'm really noob of new changes and dunno how to take this " specialization "... but that's my problem... np mate i'll just left poe untill i decide to create a new char :p
