" Yeah, I was indeed looking at a CoD build. However, this seems to accomplish roughly the same thing without draining your mana on being hit. The only way you realistically get above 80% max resists is by using the respective potion at the given time, correct? (as in you won't always have 90+ resist all). SOrry for the newb questions, I'm pretty new, there's 1000 incinerate builds and I just want to make sure I pick a real solid one before I blow all my currency lol |

with my tree u always run with 87% resits on lvl23 empowered purities u run....aura buff and inner force buff make +9% on each purity. Shield adds +4%.
75 base cap +9 +4 =87% ^ Thats just all the time. Flask makes 100% immune because it add 13%. I could run all three purities but it's not really needed. Most maps are either lighting cold or lighting fire so I just carry swap helm and run 2 so I can run DPS aura too. Very nice build.
btw, I think it's 275k dps when everything is factored. At stage 3, you get 300% more, ie. you do 4 times the damage. Ranger builds list: /917964

" Well Incinerate can't hold candle mapping to a nova IMO. Just the whole synergy of auto double cursing lightning warp and boom whole screen dies is just unsurpassed even with supposedly less DPS. Incinerate is built for one thing boss killing, and, in this case goal was to take on UBER as a self caster. I'd hate to lvl with incinerate. I think "best" compromise between toughness, map clearing and DPS would be a tendrils build wearing same gear I'm wearing in this build just specing lightning in tree. Btw, you might want to check Cloak of Flame sometime. With the nerf to LC, non-legacy LC gives ~24% mitigation, compared to Cloak of Flame's 20%(on builds running AA). It is also much easier to chrome for spellcasters, gives 110% more resists compared to LC, and doesn't shock you occasionally :). Was just thinking that you might want to include that in your builds that run on LC, or their hardcore variants.

nice build, i try to do some incinerate builds, but still working on some tips for builds...
like to discuss 2 things, how to sustain life? i hink to run Life leech and use Elemental EQ, using nova + effect + curse on hit + flamability or ele awaekness, instead of Arc totem... this is gona work pheraps? what gem i put off, Empower or Fast Casting, to put on LF?! thanks!! |
