(Disclaimer, I decided to call it quit and vaal all my items, didn't die! results below)

Introduction & Gameplay

Manual Cold snap to freeze the screen, so the Stormcall totems land bull's eye and never miss. Stormcall does far more damage than arc due to damage effectiveness meaning it gets 100% of added damage from heralds and added lightning gem. AOE nodes synchronizes well with both.

Regarding Curses
Going ES instead of life allows for complete use of curse remove utility flasks, since you would not need to use life flasks.

Getting hit while cursed isn't as devastating as it seems, if you get hit for example with elemental weakness, you would take 1.5 damage of normal hit. You wouldn't one get one shot no matter one. And most curses are harmless. You can curse immunity if you play your flasks right, it's fairly easy once you get used to it.


Regarding Chaos damage
75% chaos at 800% life is regarding the same as -60 chaos at about 5k life.
With 75% Chaos resis with 800hp unreserved and some regen, desecrated grounds and degen doesn't hurt. I run beyond maps regularly. Chaos attacks and spells don't hurt either, bond of chaos can hurt like any other full hp char and so does Chaos EK spells. In heavy Chaos areas, turn off 1 aura on life.

Pros
- 7L chest
- 30% more spell damage and unlucky enemy hits from Lori's Lantern
- Stun and freeze immunity uniques not needed due to good HP pool.
- Perma Freeze and Shock Party support.
- High Defense, energy shield and life, 800 hp + 7400 es =8.2k hit sink.
- Lifeleech your energy shield, unlike ordinary double totems build.
- Constant Vaal Stormcall, requires 16 souls only.
- Reflect safe, no need to travel 20 nodes for mortal conviction to take resis aura to reduce reflect.

Cons
- Requires skills, not your typical 1-2 button masher.
- Chaos resists from gear to cap to 75% before going lowlife.
- Learn to keep flasks running all the time.

Use to cap chaos resis until you get good gear. Use a 5l or 4l

Leveling
Use Stormcall to level to 49 where you can switch to Soul Mantle. Have Curse remove flasks ready.

Just the regular tree man, go hybrid and use ES gear until you have 75% chaos to go lowlife.

Best control build i have seen. Great idea and implementation. Gratz for Olmec in Bloodlines , solo without typical cookie cutter hype train build.

Thanks, it's being downvoted on reddit and will probably disappear from the forum page in a few hours. Talent and creativity is scarce in this society, why bother standout when you can just conform. But it's finally good to realize that you're putting it in the wrong place.

Probably because is not too optimal, you need insane gear to pull it off, yet in any instance with heavy chaos damage, you dont even gain lowlife bonuses..

You show a ton of clips where you prolif a long freeze like that is only doable with lowlife.... that isnt the case really, my fire trapper had a 1k dps cold snap trap that would freeze just as long without using a romiras lol

Edit: Atziri is doable but very bothersome and gear checky to try, I've almost killed her last form before I got burnt out. I had a lot of fun and decided to call it quits and science orb all my gear, results on forum!
