Wow. CCP took massive flak over the monocle for $70, but GGG can put in $90 pets and nobody bats an eyebrow. In fact most people seem to be coming out in overwhelming support of the prices.

The internet is a confusing place.

I think those microtransactions are getting too expensive here. $50 and $90 for one pet? Keep the prices low so more people will keep shopping points.

GGG has done some great work with the game stability since we went open beta, that's great!


Personally i don't really care about the price of pets. I think 90$ is ridiculous, but then again, i wouldn't buy it if it was 9 bucks either. The price for account upgrades is perfectly reasonable, and that's whats most important.

I did notice something weird however - all the new items are marked as 'on sale'. Not sure of the law in New Zealand, but in the EU it's illegal to advertise something as 'on sale' when it's never had a price before that.

Not a single word about desync issues again...

Until they've managed to fix the Windows 7 32-bit problem, I'll sit tight waiting and playing other games at it.
