[1.3][Torment] Starfish's Igna Phoenix Build! Lowlife RF Firestorm/ball Witch

I also answered on the reddit thread but I'll post it here for future references:

"
I'm doing a build that's very similar to this but I just have one question. I'm pretty new to rf but I thought you couldn't snap shot anymore. I saw your alternate weapons and assumed they're for the snap shot but if not, what are they for? Does springleaf and ephemeral affect rfs initial burn and then you swap to be able to regenerate thru it? Or is springleaf kind of an oh shit scenario shield?

I'm using the weapon swap when I need the extra regen and when RF is off, that's helpful for Haku missions and running to Dominus. It's also good to have in said "oh shit scenario" when I use my dousing flask and turn RF off completely to regen fast

Just a quick glance from the final skill tree. You traveled all the way to get Charisma which gives a total of 12% reduced reserved. Well, you can get 12% from the 4% node before Leadership and the 2 4% nodes in the aura circle on the far left side, which would save you 5 points.

Quick Recovery nets you .26% life regen per node while also giving you %life. On the other hand, there are 3 life regen nodes near scion and a 0.8% near marauder, netting .4% life regen per node.

Instead of spending 3 points on Potency of Will, I suggest spending it on Inner Force, which will increase your ES and life regen from Disc and Vitality.

Does this have enough damage to carry you into maps?
I haven't really experimented with firestorm as a main damage ability

Also, this tree runs very close to endurance charge nodes so it would probably be pretty easy to go discharge...

Charisma gives me 6% aura effectiveness which is crucial in order to get 6% fire resist from a lvl 20 purity of fire (which I have by now, lvl 82)

Quick recovery gives mana regen ontop of life regen, which helps sustain the mana cost of firestorm.

Potency of will increases firestorm's DPS by alot, while Inner Force will break my build completely because it also increases the damage taken from RF causing me to degen.

You can always adjust the tree to your playstyle, that's why i posted the basic template for sustaining RF, you can take it to any direction from there! :D

It does decent damage when soloing, but it's lower than any crit spellcaster.
I did some math and with 1.3k avg. damage firestorm, lasting for 2.11 seconds and a ball falls every 0.08 seconds results in 26 balls per cast * 1,300 = 33,800, which then gets multiplied by casts per second to stack ontop of eachother (1.8) and ends up in 60k DPS assuming all balls hit (which is the case when fighting dominus)
This is just in a 4L with a redbeak and lvl 18 firestorm... so I believe there's more potential for this build.

Cool concept and i've always wanted play an igna type build ever since she rekt me the first time i tried to melee her. Though the moment you ditched fireball GMP is the moment you are no longer Igna Phoenix so rip to this guide as just another RF character unless i read wrong.

Peace.
