Something wrong with TIMER [FIXED]

Okay, we have disabled the timer for now until we can work out what went wrong. Standby.

Well, it seems as if the counter just isn't displaying the timer, you should be able to figure it out yourself. BUT AT WHAT COST?
Because it looks like it's still choosing the random person every 25 mins
I no longer need Keysus :D
In before request for beta key compensation for everyone who may have been affected by the missed timer iterations.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.
First in the credits!
Okay, thank you for your interest :)
oh keysus..
Everybody lies..
I can't help but laugh.

Characters are wiped in a week anyway, so you're not going to miss a whole lot.

Maybe.... 20 people won't get in as fast as they otherwise would? Hardly a huge number.

That's some serious b0rked, that is. Here's hoping it's something simple (and easy) to resolve.

And I'm loving he fact that the devs here are both communicative and friendly.

Well done. Looking forward to seeing this game in action, looks like it's gonna be a whole lotta fun.

[22:05:18] Dylan: so, good and bad news
[22:05:22] Jonathan: go on
[22:06:18] Dylan: well, i see the bug, but it turns out it is DST related, and it seems as though the dates i'm storing in postgres aren't utc
[22:06:33] Jonathan: oh yeah
[22:06:34] Jonathan: DST
[22:06:35] Jonathan: Hah
[22:06:38] Jonathan: Of course
[22:06:43] Dylan: yeah :S
[22:07:48] Dylan: so yeah, i mean, that problem is solveable, but something is wrong with the configuration, or how i'm using dates
[22:07:53] Jonathan: Right
[22:07:57] Dylan: because i intented everything to be utc

Looks like we have made a minor mistake with how dates are being stored with regard to the timer. Because we are out of the "hole" if we restart the thing now it should work as normal.

As a side note, it looked like about 100 extra people were invited during the period that it was behaving badly.

Blasted DST.

Still, silver lining and all for a hundred or so folks.
