What was nerfed before were combinations like this:

Cwdt lvl1
+lowlevel AoE spell
+Curse on Hit high level
+Curse highlevel

-> lowlevel cwdt, highlevel curse.
GGG thought this is too powerful (though it takes 4 sockets to accomplish) and nerfed it.

They are trigger gems, namely, it's written on it : Trigger, Attack, AoE, Melee

This was fixed by the 1.0.1 patch : The level requirement of gems augmented by Cast on Damage Taken may not exceed the level requirement of the Cast on Damage Taken gem.

What I talk about arrived in patch 1.2.2 : Gems may now only be supported by a single trigger gem, gems supported by multiple trigger gems will be disabled.

My vulnerability curse works great with this combo.

That's encouraging, I'll stick to my Reckoning+Vengeance+CoH+Warlord's Mark combo then.

I finally get my hand on a Vengeance gem :

I confirm that the Reckoning+Vengeance+CoH+Curse combo works perfectly fine.

Everybody got curse before dying, so I got a sh*tload of endurance charges. Therefore I don't need to link enduring cry to my CwDT.

Hi there!

I'm currently running very similar build, but with some major changes:

1) Why non-crit? What is your current DPS?
2) Why not place Herald of Ash + Increased Burning DMG into Doriani's to get INSANE burn aoe effect?
3) I use "+1 curse" on amulet and Herald on thunder auto-curse mobs with Assasin's & Warlord's mark And

Another idea would be to put both Tempest Shield and Herald of Ash in your Doryani's, although that will reserve 48% of your mana already without Discipline.
