[1.3.0][LLD] Cheap effective Low Life Trap Shadow

This is just a rough draft. I plan to update once the Char is finished.

I have had quite a bit of fun with this build. I am by no way the best pvp player (around 1500ish rating) With the exception of the +1 to gems gloves every item is only a few Chaos or cheaper. Rings and belt are just any old thing I grabbed out of the stash. You will need resist and Str and energy shield on them. Eye of Chayula and Solaris Lorica are items to put on vs certain builds. lvl 2 Empower is about 1 ex.



The gloves are just for +1 to gems. I bought the first pair with the correct colors. A different unique would be better.

Gem Setup

Bear Trap is your everything. Mine is at 2400 damage without hatred and 3000 with. Link it with Empower, Added Fire, Physical to Lighting.

Cold Snap is used for CC. It being in the boots makes it a 5L. Multiple traps, Empower, and Cold Penetration. This does decent damage since we penetrate about 26% of cold resist (10 from passives)

Clarity is used to get you on low life. I use a lvl 5 Clarity and Blood Magic gem.

There are some essential gems that all players should use in pvp.
Smoke Mine
Arc (or another trap clearing spell)
Movement skill (Whirling blades, lighting warp, leap slam)




Strategy for Common Builds

Flicker Strike - Just stay away and let the traps do the work. If they get to you use smokemine. The way pvp is now if they get to you it will be almost a 1 hit kill.

Tornado shot or puncture archers - I find them pretty easy to dodge but it depends on the player really. Dodge and trap.

how much ES do you have given it's low life? don't see on the tree and not that much on gear either.
