[1.3] pabrt's Frost Wall Kinetic Blaster - Budget Friendly!
I'am trying that s***** on my COC build
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgAAt9byl9tZm10tqKiasZBaUoMJSshvnm6qykqcpLXywzqHE6luNZKbtYngdwd4Ddi9UzXmWOhmD6uTHz_8Fr9JEwixAx4mlR9BYeJVS4w2pLHljp1jXfJw1Q5IidMRluOEY0NwUgceNj0qC5UunarssPPq8NVirGyMjAtJUY_6tMW5fOwYwuwFtY2_1CNRR-dUMHwk_Y19fyv_3iP2d9dNklb6FHUY21uvYnkV9gAG 92% chance to hit 94% chance to crit with 5 PC 3k tooltip with only the three herald, working great for the moment, it's just hard to sustain mana without thief, maybe with a better phys wand, but it's still decent with surgeon flask. |

Are you dual wielding piscator's with a phys wand? You should probably try to dual wield matching wand types (2x ele or 2x phys, but not both). Sustaining mana off leech is already hard because this build uses many small hits, and having one wand with no phys on it can't help.
Anyway, glad you're enjoying the build :) |

can i play this build with witch?

nice guide, tyvm
Some questions: 1.Since Im doing a aura/herald build with some reduce reserve node, how would u pioritize them? 2.How do you think about Piscator's Vigil, with ele aura/herald? 3.How would you deal with reflect if you were play ele build? 4.How do u manage mana? no potions at all. Im 44 and spaming mana potions at all time... Thank you very much. |

" Yes, but you will have to change the tree, and witch probably is better as elemental because she starts near the ele wand nodes " 1. The aura nodes on the left by templar, and the ones in between shadow/ranger, since they give the most reduce reserve. However you should use a reserve calculator to find exactly how much % you need. You would end up getting the nodes by scion and shadow too I think. 2. I tried piscator's vigil, it's a decent choice, problem for me was the lowish crit. If you get max roll crit one I think it's fine. However, if you are using thief's torment you miss 2x slots for ele dmg, so in this case I would suggest using a rare elemental wand 3. I actually am trying out ele recently, I will report back when I get more findings. I believe with perma-flask and thief's torment reflect should be fine, but we will see (one alternative for ele is saffel's frame, which would give insane max res) 4. I use thief's torment for mana. It is a convenient solution to both life and mana recovery and it's cheap. Downside is you lose 2x rings worth of good rolls. Last edited by pabrt#4594 on Jan 30, 2015, 1:23:28 AM

" Sry for been not clear, what i meant is actually piority between auras & heralds. I currently trying to make it ele, but due to reflect and mana, im still can not decide.... phy immune to reflect, and can leech,....ele has nothing... Since you are doing phy, how do u think drop thief, and pick up the 2% mana leech? What do u think? What's you panel dps? with gmp Last edited by kongyuyu#2965 on Jan 30, 2015, 2:49:26 PM

Probably would use: herald of ice/thunder, wrath, anger at a minimum
Mana leech is an unreliable way to recover mana in this build. One reason it is capped at 12.5% of your mana. With Volls this gives me around 260 mana, or 32.5 as my leech cap. With a KB cost of 40 and attack speed over 2, this leech won't support my mana needs. Additionally, 2% leech might not even cap mana leech, as this build generates many simultaneous, but small hits. The overall benefit of ele is that it should theoretically do more DPS. The downside is you are more susceptible to reflect (but you can easily fix that) and you don't benefit from leech (which is questionable to use anyway unless you dedicate a slot to a leech gem + acuity). Sheet dps with charges currently: 3.3k phys 3.2k ele (with only 2 heralds) As you can see, if I were using wrath and anger ele would out DPS phys, as well as synergizing better with many small hits for even more DPS. |

Just ran a plateau as ele with:
ele reflect, shocking, exiles, monster life, magic monsters, endurance charges Reflect didn't seem to matter (and this is without saffel's) so I think it's ok. |

" with only 75% res? how could u avoid been killed by reflects? With a lot of walls up, you could do a ton of dmg in 1 sec, how could u survive reflect? and why is ele more dmg than phy? Last edited by kongyuyu#2965 on Feb 1, 2015, 12:01:45 AM

I do 485 ele damage on average per hit. The majority of the hits are explosions, which get reduced to 363. This then gets reduced by the monster's ele resist, but let's assume they have 0 resist for ease of math (this means the reflect number should be even lower).
18% of 363 gets reflected back per hit, or 65 damage. 65 damage gets reduced by 88% resists (perma flask), making it 7.8 reflect damage taken per explosion, and 10 per actual KB projectile. Thief's torment provides up to 30 life on hit per hit/explosion. Additionally we have a chance to dodge with acrobatics. Last edited by pabrt#4594 on Jan 31, 2015, 10:40:53 PM
