I've killed atziri with this build at level 90 etc
I do take out curse on hit and assassin mark when fighting atziri
I also replace melee splash (just to level up) with to Purity Of Fire

The combo is still possible :) Just endurning cry is out and it's vital to find another charges generator or give up that combo at all. For now, I have some ideas how to keep it up and it will make that build even more flaxible for different playstyles. Nonetheless, I don't see any adversity to give up that build in 2.0 :)

I am following the thread but i use Static Strike only for Mono Targeting. :p
For AoE i use Frost Blades atm. Synergize ok. But i may drop it.
Same tree, except i took Flash Freeze ( Under Herbalist).


Static Strike + Concentrated Effect + Melee Phys Dmg + Multistrike.
Works nice with Abyssal Cry.

What are your thoughs on dropping Mana Flows and going for Primal Spirit at Ranger side?
And also thought on using Hyrri's Ire chest piece for that extra dodge?

Considering the first issue, yes you can go for it - it's just less mana regen and additional STR and flask recharging, I just prefer that one since I have enough STR.

You can use any chest which you want, I've just pointed the best for that build. Extra dodge is good, but Hyrri's Ire is not the best piece of gear imo.

Leveling with a dagger might not be so effective. I'd miss dagger notes in tree, at the beginning, and go for any other 1h or 2h weapon. Leveling with static strike only, might also be a trouble, so suport it with fire trap for instance, which is realy good in the early game and it doesn't realy depend on the tree.

It's not a fast leveling guide so you have to combine its tree and skills with other good ways to boost your character. Then, successively drop unnecessary addons and go straight for static strike.

It's what i did. Just dropped Frost Blades at lvl76. :p

Atm i am trying, with some difficulties, to change my EVA chest for an AR/EVA to get, at least, a RRRRB set-up for Static Strike.

Prices for Lightning Coil are going MAD in Warbands. Too bad.
Worth 8/10/20 exalts. :/
Not a "budget build" at all in this league if you want Lightning Coil.

I'll maybe try with Taste of Hate potion alone.

And, as you said, it's indeed not very easy to get the right colors on items. 4 Reds on your boots ... gg! o_0

For endurance charges, i'll try a Vengeance/Curse on Hit/Warlord's Mark set up.
Otherwise Endurance Cry alone.

Curse on Hit with HoT and Assassin's Mark is a must. Love it.
Didn't get Blood Rage yet, i have not enough life regeneration. And didn't get Frenzy nodes yet.

Lots of works ahead to make this work.

I took the power charge Bandits .. not gone change that, i'll deal with it. :p
