Clarifying Puncture
The version atm is 10% bleed when their not moving and 50% bleed when they are moving however even at lvl 20 It's stays at 50%.
The patch notes stated it increases physical every level meaning the base damage of puncture or what? Dys an sohm

Puncture has been so gutted... with a GG crit bow is at best 'meh', and that's on mobs who run around a lot (like Atziri trio). Can't imagine melee players or those who dont have top tier gear. Another thing you need to specialise into now, further establishing the "1 skill spam" nature of PoE builds / gameplay.
GGG at least owes a clarification on "increased phys. damage" patch claims. Nice joke, did not laugh :/ When night falls

Even if you specialized in it; It's not exactly worth it in my opinion / crafting personally. Unless you have a mirror bow or a high tier bow for that matter, Puncture isn't going to do anything.
Using the chin-sol thing doesn't work as good as it use too simply because the gem well; The gem sucks ass now unless GGG Can come and clarify this -.- Dys an sohm Rohs an kyn Sahl djahs afah Mah morn narr Last edited by Coconutdoggy#1805 on Dec 14, 2014, 5:36:28 AM

anyone defending 'old' puncture is.. crazy

Yes, this build is destroyed. Good job, now true build diversity can flourish, wait... why is everyone just playing another gimmick?
In pvp it is still stronk though, there are legions of puncture trappers there. |

" You could still find a proper middle ground between 50% and 126%. For me another major downside of the change is that this is another gem that does not provide a real benefit when leveled. |

i agree somehow with 'no need to level' ("for a trap+point blank+crit multi CHEEZEE")
for a normal build that uses puncture not as a 'look, im smart and can abuse a skill dealing 200x more damage in a safe way' this skill still gains damage with levels and imho is just fine what some want is a 'cheap, easy, safe' (for some this is mandatory to something call "fun") skill. puncture was one. tornado shot IS still one. be happy that they havent had time to fix the other half of 'crit tornado/puncture' setup |

" Nah. I spent quite a bit of currency to craft a 360 DPS harbinger, and at best the skill is now mediocre. I crit once, they start bleeding, and then I have to crit them again to kill them since they're still slowly bleeding. Meaning I could be playing a build that uses any other skill to achieve the same result, since the bleed isn't speeding up their deaths. And anyone who doesn't have an above-average bow like this? They simply won't use the skill since it'll be worthless. Considering the amount of effort I put into getting this weapon, I should be allowed to reap some type of reward and the feeling of being powerful. Otherwise, what's the point of getting better items in a loot game? Additionally, the movement bleed was just gutted so bad.... We went from 126% to 50%! When it comes to currency and drops GGG is always modifying values in the single integers for fear of screwing up the precious economy, but skills? They go trigger-happy on that shit and just gut everything so that from one day to the next no one uses them anymore. There is no way nerfing a skill by over half its power is an acceptable way of adjusting it. |

even you describe puncture as a 'one shot wonder'. cheap. easy. effortless. broken
it is no longer broken. one trap + puncture + point blank + crit was enough to kill pretty much everything in this game in one shot. i know it is easy to get used to this. but no game can afford such stuff as it makes said game look CHEAP. what game wants to be known as CHEAP? |

" You think EVERYTHING in the fucking world is broken stop commenting on things when you have no clue what you are talking about. You have no end game experience either in ''1 shots'' either. I worship ee-sama! Last edited by Chickennuggetsyo#2343 on Dec 14, 2014, 7:18:00 AM
