Ohhh I see. So it's like an 'echo' of your attack basically. Does it 'echo' every single attack you make? E.g. if I attack 5 times extremely quickly, there will be 5 explosions guaranteed?

Sorry for another question but why use a 2hander, isn't it just as effective to use a fast attacking smaller weapon as it is to use a slow attacking bigger weapon?

Yes echo is a nice way of putting it. Yes 5 hits means 5 booms. This skill, supports & auras all scale with phys damage, the higher the physical you do the more damage you're going to deal. I've tried with a 1h sword/shield crit build and the damage wasn't anywhere near as good with a decent 2h.

Mkay, so basicly it's better to start with marauder I think... those starter templar elemental dmg nodes don't scale realy well.
What's the idea behind linking faster attacks with vengeance?

Been looking at uniques that might do well in this build, what are peoples thoughts on Marohi Erqi?

My logic being you need one masssive hit, to trigger a big explosion to clear the room, so attack speed not so relevant, we have RT to counter the -accuracy, and move speed can be made up fairly easily?

In PoE, "less" and "more" are multiplicative modifiers, each of them on its own.
"Increased" and "Decreased" are additive modifiers, all added up into one multiplier.

Static Strike has 110% base damage.
30% less on the explosion.
69% more on lvl20 conc effect.

110*(1-0.3)*(1+0.69)= 130.13%
(When only interested in comparing tooltip DpS with explosion DpS, a lvl20 conc effect lets the explosion deal (1-0.3)*(1+0.69)= 18% more damage than the tooltip number)

Because that 130% result is almost the same result as you got, let me do it again with "your" numbers for clarification:

x=tooltip damage
It is x *0.7 *1.6 = x*1.12
Not x*(1 -0.3 + 0.6) = x* 1.3.

Afaik, multistrike just repeats one attack two times, so its still basically 1 attack.
