Hey, I've been following your guide, and I'm having a bit of trouble. My character has just over 1k health and is in the middle of act 2 merciless. I've noticed that I have tons of deaths that take me from full health to 0 in about 1/4 of a second. What am I doing wrong?
Hi, been following your build for ages ! Thank you, this is my first stable build btw :) I wonder any way to make this build a magic finder without losing (or losing some) dps ? Me working on it too, if i find any way i'll gladly to share here.

Thank you again for the build. Nice for newbies like me.

We're happy to help out but you'll need to give us a lot more detail to know where you're problem lies. As a minimum you should post your gear and your tree. The symptom though sounds very much like reflect damage. Too much DPS and not prioritising life and defence can easily result in this. Anyway, show us the character details and we'll see what we can do.

How much MF are you working toward? At the moment I have 125% MF plus an extra 56% from my Item Rarity gem linked to my LT Culling Strike set up. Previously I had about an extra 20% MF on top of that but not more. I just couldn't find any gear to really push the MF level up.

I use this set up to farm Dominus on a regular basis and my previous level was used to farm Vaal for quite some time. Both have proven to be quite solid builds and I've picked up some fun gear. Nothing uber, but certainly useful like Carcass Jack, CoD, Abyssus and so on.

Are you looking to do endless Atziri runs with this character, or simply farm for reasonable gear? I don't think I'll ever tackle Atziri with this build as it currently stands but I can score items for the 2 chaos recipe quite consistently and score a unique from Dominus about one out of every four runs.
It's not always reflect, I've been killed more than once before I had even started attacking. Heres my gear, I've been using summoning a bit because the zombies and spectres and whatnot serve as distractions, otherwise all fire would be focused on me

Spoiler
OK, so going by your gear your character is at least lvl 54 now with the following stats:

Armour: nil
Evasion: 83 (assuming you have your 3 Dragons helm - you didn't link it)
Energy Shield: 318 (assuming 25 from your 3 Dragons helm)
Plus Life: +20

My earlier character at level 57 had the following stats:

Armour: 47
Evasion: 160
Energy Shield: 364
Plus Life: +130

So there's not a huge difference there... except for a lot more life and I was also prioritising life nodes in the tree at this time too so my survivability was better.

My best bit of advice I can get though is that Uniques are like Krispy Kreme donuts - they're a sometimes thing, not an everyday thing :)

You need the helmet, the gloves I get and I was using the same at around that level too, but the other uniques could all be replaced with rare gear that would be much better for you. I presume by these items you're looking to take advantage of blocking, but to block you've got to be hit and that drains your shield which is really you're only form of damage mitigation. Once it's gone your life pool will disappear in no time.

You've got 30% chance to block, so roughly 2 out of 3 hits are going to do damage. Your chance to block spells is only 7.5% so only one out of 12 spell attacks that hit you will be blocked. I believe casinos call that 'crappy odds'. Your linked curses in your shield are only going to proliferate that often when manual casting you could have them applied when you want. I can see you're manually using enfeeble, so you'll just over-write that at the most inopportune time. You could grab a rare magic user shield and do so much better on stats!

I'd also ditch the robe for similar reasons of poor effectiveness. So one out of three hits it causes consecrated ground. Big deal, that takes time to kill whereas Arc will demolish your enemies before they have time to say "I think I'm being poisoned". Also, that gimmick is no good to you if the first two hits kill you.

If you want to use that Amulet, at least toss an Augment Orb on it to get an extra free stat. It could be something useful for you!

I probably sound like a broken record by now, but get yourself a totem, preferably a spell totem. The advantage over minions is you can cast it well ahead of you and you can put it exactly where you want it. Use a spell totem with Arc and increased crit damage you can take advantage of your 3 Dragons by increasing your freeze chances.

Try some of those suggestions and see how you go. Realistically at that level you should only be dying to Solaris and Sceptre of God due to the high volume ranged physical attackers and leapers there. Everything should be a walk in the park.

Sure not looking for atziri, just to farm dom and some low level maps. I got Item Quantity gem and my IIR gem almost lvl 20 with q20, so im exicited to farm something using Arc. :) Arc, because it doesnt miss any monsters on screen and you can keep your distance either.

Do you use any mf items like Aursize or just from rings and IIR gem ? If you link your gear i will be glad ;)
Head back to page 22 and my gear is linked there under the Equipment section (click on the Spoiler button). I've recently upgraded my gear again but for the purposes of MF this link is more useful. My gloves have always be MF being either Sadima's or Aurseize. Aurseize are great for a Witch as you can easily 4 link them all red for the standard CWDT set up. I was very fortunate to have a second set drop recently with a perfect roll :)

I get my other MF from boots and jewellery and personally I've found being above +100 Rarity necessary to be getting some reasonable drops. For me I found the most efficient farming to be Vaal Temple followed by a quick circuit around Sarn. Pretty safe for this build as long as you stay back from Perpetus when you're under-levelled or under-equipped.

Once you've done this for a while and some lower maps try Dominus and see how you go. I didn't start farming him regularly till I was about Level 75 but now I rip through Sceptre in a few minutes and the drops have been worthwhile.

I now have enough good gear to equip a number of characters of different builds and I've never had so many Chaos before!

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I know I'm using quite a few uniques that aren't the best, but a friend lent them to me and they where so much better than what I was using before.
