" The amount of threads about being hacked has been pretty consistent since the game went live. The last 2 days hasn't been particularly that bad. Also, they can't protect every user from himself. |

If you dont accept or decline, its in your friends list with accept or decline on it. If you decline... you are still on the other persons friends list. So maybe you added someone, forgot about it and now they are there? Maybe you didnt mean to click friend on someone while reporting someone? This is most likely a user error... |

" Did yo happen to use that Google Chrome addon that showed your inventory and what vendor combinations you had? I forget the name but some guy was trying to get me to download and install it, its on the forums somewhere here on a huge thread... GGG said it was a bannable offense but never did anything cept make the combinations a bit harder to do... Which sucks imo. If so, perhaps you could blame hackers that you used a 3rd party program on a game and got your password stolen. As the addon had access to your account, it had your login info... I dont know why nobody saw that one coming if thats the deal. |

someone posted an offline skill planner here, i dont know maybe check that out, also drive by browser exploits from java is a big one(tool sites). Lets not also forget your browser can store your game password from the PoE website too so cross site scripting from cookies and stuff could get you as well.

Stolen all orbs too.
Its developers fail. Because game dont gave block if 10-20 time you wrong enter password. Password 6 number + 2 letter = 8 signs so now all can find any password - AutoFit. Last edited by darkcrash2007#3695 on Feb 25, 2013, 6:48:08 AM

I just logged in for the first time in about a week, was greeted by a warning saying my account has been logged in from some place else and my password didn't work anymore.
Got mailed an unlock code and change my password, logged in and noticed that all my orbs of value were gone in the stash. Nothing else though like equipment or such. I also noticed a new player had been added to my friend list on an account named "Thaigr" character named "caicaicaifafa" level one ranger. I'm guessing this is the person or bot that stole my orbs and stuff... I guess the chances of some mod/admin rolling back my account for like a week isn't an option, but I sure hope you can stop this guy from ruining more peoples experiences. Got no idea how he/she got my password, I'd say I'm above average when it comes to security and a keylogger or such is definitely not an option here.
