I don't think GGG is saying it's our fault. (I really hope not)
Because if a determined hacker can get into nuclear missile databases and bring them down, anyone's home security system is going to be a joke for any skilled hacker. Hacks will happen regardless of how good you think your pc is secured so it's the job of the company to issue reasonable measures to combat this problem, and restore items that were lost due to this. If their secondary security measures are coming soon, then anyone who lost stuff before these measures are implemented should get a full or partial restore. This is a good faith move that will be looked upon favorably by the community they are trying to build. |

I lost:
17chaos 10alch 8fusion 8scouring 2regret 3blessed 40~ jewell and some equip in inv , all look like they will come back(I still got bout 200 alts and other stuff) ,got a lot good items like 4-5l 6slot armor , items on me that together cost more that 10ex I think. Don't know if I will continue playing , i have to say that it was fun and hc mod is perfect. Never would have thought that this would crush me , but i spent a lot of time due farming , I mean A LOT... IGN: @NARAIONE

What's the point of playing an item-based game if at any time you could lose all your items with no recourse to get them back? Seems kind of silly to me.
