the lack of people before .93

Got a bit bored with my Witch once I got to ruthless, now I only play when my friend can. I don't feel like putting tons of effort into a character I know will be gone in a week or so. But when 9.3 comes out I'll probably play alot.
I've already brought a couple of characters to Merciless on hardcore and written a novel's worth of text on what I think is wrong with the game (most of it now changed or planned to change). Can't be arsed doing the same thing all over again when I know it's an outdated version.
Come play hardcore guys, it is more exciting.
Softcore(default) A quiet night at home with some lotion and some internet p0rn.

Hardcore a series of wild one night stands with any hot trashy girl you can find(no protection!)

One is safe and boring the other is adrenaline filled and exciting and might kill you!

Dont be safe and boring.

Bought Two Worlds2 & passing time with that.

Wow can't believe you bought that over dark souls or dues ex; I digress.

Well, one, I don't own (nor want to own) a console. :) And two, I don't like my games to be quite that frustrating (from what I read/hear from friends).
Deus Ex doesn't seem my type of game either. Borderlands & Fallout:NV is about as FPS/gun-gaming as I get, lol. I didn't even like Half-Life series very much. :P

I was hoping for an open world game I could explore in to tide me over til Skyrim but sadly Two Worlds2 appears to not be very free-explore, unlike the first game. Every door/cave/dungeon locked until you have a quest. Still kind of fun, but not what I wanted. :)
I'd really like a ladder race to say good bye to 9.2.
I stoped playing this version for quite a long time now but plan to play a lot with 9.3. A race with prize would be amazing.

Oh, and I'd love to pair up with someone decent for this one (+ who's able to practice a little before the event), just to see how faster it is to play in duo, since I couldn't win playing solo last time :)

Hyped for 9.3 anyway !

I'd be up for it :D

With the change to experience since the last race and the introduction of curses I think duos might be even stronger.
And as it is such so also as such is it unto you
Yeah I think it really is, being able to level up that fast (with the change to how experience is given with -5 lvl from area level) in act 2 should be really awesome xD

I played through Sacred 2, Divinity 2 and Two Worlds 2 over a six month period. None of them are all that great but they're excellent for just killing time. Risen might be the open world game you're looking for but it's pretty tough at the start. You can go into virtually any cave or dungeon you stumble across, and die seconds later.

Popped in to see why the servers were dead. I haven't really played much over the last few of weeks. Pretty much waiting for the big patch.
Yeah, GGG kinda killed the beta community, with the delays and being so tight lipped. Probably a lot of people won't log back in after .93 they will just forget about. Or think all their .92 efforts were wasted. ( I would really like to do some data analysis on those numbers)

I for one an looking forward to it, but it does seem a bit sad all in all.

Here is to hoping for persistence after .93 so the community keeps active and growing so it will be strong on game release.

If people give up on the game simply because a beta patch is being delayed (for improvements), they probably aren't cut out to be beta testing video games. This is a test phase, not a demo.
Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.
First in the credits!
