What do you think about Herald of Ice or Herald of Thunder for that 25% aura slot?

I think u can use it if u have enough MP. I decide for myself that i don't need that auras cause I have enough DPS. And also at half regen maps u need more MP.

I think I'll do a similar build in the incoming league. Sounds really good.

I played an Ice Shot + Puncture build earlier this league but it was way worse than this one.

I think Ice Shot is the best skill for exp until maybe lvl 70. But then I use only split.
BTW when I was 40-50 lvl I used Pyre Ring and three dragons helmet for fun, so I shock mobs with Ice Shot :D It haven't much profit but its funny :)

Exactly, I stopped playing the Ice Shot build after reaching level 78 because I didn't find it consistent, but still was fun till it lasted.

What's the reason behind using Split Arrow, by the way, instead of Tornado Shot, Ice Shot or similar ones.

Projectiles from split arrow can kill mobs out of screen :) Also I think its more convenient for knockback mobs. PoE have only 3 aoe physical archer skills - RoA, Split and Tornado. Two of them are targeted. I don't like to move the mouse around the screen, so I just choose the direction and my projectiles fly there.
