I have been getting some tells for my HC variant of the build. I figured this would be a good place to post it. Please note that this is an alt and gearing has been very budget for it. Total cost is under 10 ex.

I have 3 Frenzy and 3 Power Charges here, which are ~100% uptime.


Edit: I believe that Doryani's can only be a late game option due to it's low crit chance. From what I have gathered talking to people who are struggling with the build, the scaling just isn't there at the lower levels (sub L90 at least) to make it competitive with a rare sceptre. Unfortunately I can't even afford the weapon to test things for myself. My tree doesn't have as much crit chance on it as the OP's version so I doubt Doryani's would be viable with my rendition as well.

Yep, the high crit chance of a rare sceptre makes it much more consistent for DPS output.

I'm looking at your tree and i can definitely see the benefits of going up templar for more life. The DPS looks good and hopefully it works well for you.

Drops the crit nodes below Res Tech in favor of templar life+aoe. Picks up a 10 int node along the way, so you can drop Mana FLows. I think the tradeoff is 22% phys, 6% attack speed, 120% crit chance, and 15% crit mult for 42% WED, 20% life, 30 base life, 12% AOE, and 8% area damage.

EDIT: Actually, sounds kind of dumb now that I think it over again. Definitely a huge damage drop, the AOE increase would be barely noticeable, and 2 points removed from Mana Flows could just be dropped into 5% HP nodes, so besides the AOE it's really only a gain of 10% life and 30 base life.

It's definitely a valid option, as the 1% life regen node is right there. But if we were to trade off stats and damage, it would be dropping nodes in shadow for templar. Ideally, if one had a 9.21% crit sceptre, the crit nodes can definitely be dropped.

Hey, I have a few questions with regards to the gem setup.

1) Is Crit Damage support worse than Added Fire?
2) If you used Faster Attacks instead of Multistrike, would you have enough damage to oneshot packs? I'd estimate you'd do around 20k damage per hit or so.

Tooltip DPS is kinda misleading. If you take your mean damage per ground slam, assume 100% critchance and multiply by crit damage and attack speed, you'd end up at 144908 DPS. Which is a bit less than double your tooltip, so somethings wonky somewhere.

I like added fire for the burning. I also think it gives slightly more dps than multi. It also gives more dps than WED.

The tooltip is definitely messed up. Adding quality to Ungil's adds dps to groundslam. I have no idea why lol.

can you give me an idea to adapt the build for marauder?
Have you tested a 6L Carcass Jack yet? Im still not such if I should buy a Carcass Jack for the deeps or a Lightning Coil. It may just work fine with Abyssus and Carcass but Im not sure about Reflect..
