Ok, I have been reading this thread with great interest. Im waiting for the HC uber kill, yes Im looking at you muir :P
Here is some info about the Atziri spells, someone correct me if im wrong but I believe its right: 1. Red storm call. This storm call does 100% lightning damage and has no penetrate. This is the "easier" one. 2. Yellow storm call. So called "empowered" storm call and does again 100% lighning damage. This one does LOT more damage than the other one. There should NOT be penetration, you should be fully immune to it with 100% light res. 3. Normal single flameblast. 100% fire damage, no penetration here. 4. Double flameblast and sometimes she does single big one(or are the double ones stacked top of each other?) This one has 8% fire penetration in normal Atziri and 10% at Uber. So why you are taking damage with 100% light res then? Not sure why, but it might be: She always reflects a little damage. This can be seen easily if you use cwdt lvl 1 and some curse. You will get cursed even when she is not attacking while you attack her. This is also easily seen if you play char with heavy physical dmg in one hit, like dual strike crit or reave. She actually hurts sometimes with this reflect if you got enough singe hit dmg. " When i did the test against Atziri with 100% light res, i didn't have any spell block and i wasn't hitting her. Hi i have a problem, don't have much RES/ low kill/ mana reserved 36% i can use only 2 spells on me.

Sometimes its a slight delay until molten strike projectiles hit the ground and proc discharge. You cant leech during this time and can die if you get large spike of dmg (happened to me few times)
What are your thought on replacing faster attacks with faster projectiles? I played around with it and it adds a little quality of life - you blow up noticably faster after attacking. Losing atk spd is not that bad since its mostly needed on big enemies like apex bosses, in normal maps you usually have to attack once or twice and screen dies |

I myself hate the molten-blob-landing-delay. I get around this by just using lightning strike wherever/whenever i can (98% of the time running maps) leaving the soggy blobs for bosses mainly but this requires swapping gems 'in the heat of battle 'and is not for everyone. Give it a try tho, it might work for you.
