By my calculation you have 214% armor, 1747 evasion from grace and 320 base evasion.

Perhaps something is multiplicative and I'm not aware.

You have 433 armour and 1196 evasion that I can see from gear.

the 433 armour only gets multiplied by 100% of your 214% armour because the remaining 114% is only applied to evasion converted to armour by IR. And your items give only 1196 evasion.

So 433*2 = 866 and (1196+1747+320)3.14 = 10,245 + 866 = 11,111. This is odd because your armour is slightly double that.

Your total armour is 22,586 we can subtract 866(boots) from this to make things simpler. = 21,700. This means you need 4843 evasion from gear, you have 1196, you are missing 3657 evasion.

I'm clearly retarded.

No you're not, and yes , you're on to something.
I've altered my build, I'll update soon. :)

Hey bro would u ever consider using summon skeletons with spell totem over your zombies? or are they just too stronk?

Hey!
Both of them are just as strong. The reason I choose to go for zombies instead, is because I prefer having some kind of mobile defense around me at all time, rather than the situational totem. They just fit my play style more. ;p

So you have a Pure ev shield and you took more EV/ES nodes?

That deceptive armour is sort of annoying. The difference between 11k with no buffs and 22.5k with buffs is huge, let's see your 100% unbuffed no molten shell+shenanigans armour.

Following this build at the moment everything going really well. Is there a way of finding out which enemies do physical reflect so I don't instagib myself by accident ( playing hardcore )
Hi liking the build, it's quite fun - one question.

Why are the builds for lvling i.e. lvl 80+ different from your mid game and final?

Are you saying you don't do maps until you're past 80+ and respec your build completely for maps?

thanks
You also took out life leech and put in added fire damage for your damage numbers T.T

Here's how it works :
Nothing = 5962 armor
with Grace = 10539 armor
with Determination = 17494 armor
with Molten Shell = 23197 Armor ( It's a bit more cause I got a new helm )

I understand the confusing. I've updated the lvl80+ build.
I hope that helps!

Also, there's a point in which I get Inner force, and after that I respec out of the crit/crit multiplier nodes near the start of the shadow tree, and head towards IR instead.

I did, that's what I'm gonna have on a 6L. On some low lvl maps I switch to added fire for the extra dps. It just speeds things up.

How well does the build fare with a regular Mana Leech gem? And is it worth using ML gems in the early game, or shall I wait till at least 40/50+ or whatever since the percentage of damage dealt won't be very high?

Thank you for the build btw, lost a char due to carelessness and starting over, this time trying out a shadow and your style.

Thank you again, such a great guy. Can you update us with your latest gears?
New player here. Currently playing a lvl 25 summoner thats working pretty well, but I want to play something a little faster. I have played d2 off and on since it came out and recently d3, so I have a decent amount of skill level but I am also ignorant of the class/skill system on here.

Would you suggest this build for some one new to this game in particular with no money/gear? Also do you respec only once, and is it expensive? Would it be viable to just follow your lvl 80 tree on HC or should I stick with the crit first?

I have some what of an understanding of maps but I dont know what lvl they start at. I also know from reading around that iron reflexes are required at a certain point to avoid killing your self with reflect mobs. What lvl does iron reflexes become essential? Thanks!
