I think artists nowadays are getting not enough recognition if it comes to the terms of internet.. Many people just try to "steal" their art or use it otherwise without giving credit or the like, it's really sad.

Anyways, back to topic:
Would you say you build is viable for endgame aswell even though one doesn't have a Voltaxic?

Sadly I myself for example can't afford it. So I'm using The Three Dragons + Pyre ring and added Elemental Proliferation + Increased AoE to my gem setup (Lightning Tendrills).

Aswell as altering the skill tree very slightly:

You'll have slightly better survivability with Freezing on Crit, but remember you won't be doing as much DPS when you give up 2 gems, you'd have a LOT less Life (Pyre/3d have none), and most of all, you'll die to Reflect almost immediately. Best to either get Vaal Pact, or Spell Block. Also, you're using a VERY high level tree, much more than is realistic.

tl;dr = No. Without a Voltaxic Rift, this is not a build you should follow. There are better ways to play a lightning caster assuming you're using ANY other weapon.

Hi. I REALLY liked the idea of this build. Do you mind answering some questions?

- Why do herald of thunder is linked with life leech? and why does it works with curse on hit? I tried curse on hit with my herald of ash and it didn't worked :(
- Why not doryani belt? Life leech, 30% resist, 30% dmg bonus... seems pretty nice. Or damage done isnt lightning so there is no leech?

Herald of Ash never actually hits anything, it only does Damage-over-time, whereas HoT hits just fine, so it works. As for Life Leech, why not? I don't need the spare mana, and the leech is certainly helpful. That said, getting BBBR on your bow is doable, getting my colors was a fluke, so don't count on having Life Leech on HoT.

Doryani would add some DPS, and has nice resists, sure. But no life, so a BIG loss in survivability, and no Leech as you suspect, since I don't actually deal ANY Lightning damage.
