Grandmaster Immortalisation

Hi

Did i understand it right :

Once submitted it will stay as submitted and cant be change till you buy another grandmaster pack ? (in conculsion submit a lvl 100 char? /// 20/20 gems?)

Or

You got that export option more then once?

Hi Chris , i have some questions :)



1. Is it possible to influence your builds AI or discuss it directly with person resonsible for AI scrippting process for your submission in any way?

2. Will there be any mods on that map such as curse immunity or faster attacks or multiple projectiles that would perhaps benefit exiles in some unforseen way :) ?

3. Will we be able to beta test the map somehow before its released to QA our submission how it works? (hats off to Neon he is working very hard) but stil it would be awsome if we had the chance to QA it ourselves too :)

4. With the amount of 532 Grandmasters so far how do you imagine the map in 1 year time ? Do you think that chance of finding your own guy in that map will be very slim ? (Additionaly will there be any limit for the amount of submited builds for that map?)

5. Would you guys like to fix/balance RF for the purpse of that map ? Some time ago it was nerfed to the ground in PvP ? In terms of the burning damage from RF itself. Currently its garbage :(.

6. Will the future patches/tree changes affect the stats/build of subbmited grandmasters ?

7. In this map will the champions come in waves or only 1v1 ? (in regards to aura synergy if its the "wave" case")

8. Will the fight be timed or unlimited amount of time to proceed to next stage ?

9. (A bit wacky idea but nevertheless here it goes) Any chance we could get a proximity shield skill for the subbmited grandmasters somehow (not from spectres) but from game mechanics or some temporary buffs of some sorts?

I would love to hear more details on Cast on Death + Vaal gems when its possible. I would like to make somekind of "kaboom!!!" type of cast on death so after my guy is killed he deals alot of dmg? i Was thinkin about vaal molten shell or vaal rf but im afraid none of these would work and i rly dislike vaal fireball, and vaal flameblast is to easy to dodge. So is it possible to tune one of fire vaal gem to be a type of explosion ?



PS Love the game and communication with players.Would vote for Chris to be Game Industry President if such thing existed.

It would be nice to be able to change the name of the submitted character, I don't want my character to be named DedeLaSaumure. And I wish you will review all the names, because I don't want to fight against character named BONJWA_TOP_DAWG or LeClitQuiCoule or DANCINTRAPS, that would really sucks.

PS: I plan to upgrade to Grand Master soon, I hope the grand master hall thing will still be possible for futures grand master supporters

Some input:

I had the assumption that the character you submitted would only act as a framework for how the actual ingame exile would be played. So what you actually were submitting was the mtx look + a "general idea" for the build.

If this is not the case, then I feel that SC players with bank are gonna submit the most broken high dps builds, with such high dmg that most other submissions would be obsolete. I really do hope some fine-tuning will be applied, both ways, else I think the map will become incredibly broken/unbalanced.

Not sure how I feel about this, but I guess I will just have to wait abit longer so I can "perfect" my char (beyond) as best as I can before making a copy, and do the namechange required lol. Because obviously you wanna submit a char that has the potential to be as annoying as possible and rip some faces! :)

You can E-Mail support to try and get the name of a character changed. Of course, if the name is taken already, you won't get it.

Is there a deadline for this? Please let me know so i can pump out a level 100 quick? Would be very disappointed if i bought the pack and didnt get immortalized. Thanks!

It's usually pretty obvious what a character is trying to do. If we really to get in touch we will, otherwise having everyone discussing their character's build is just going to make everything take a lot longer.

Do remember to not equip any skills you don't want your Grandmaster to use, though!

No, though we reserve the right to balance Grandmasters to keep them fun.

The map is supposed to contain every Grandmaster, as more people submit them the map will be expanded.

This map is supposed to sort of simulate fighting Grandmaster characters PvP-style, so skills will be the same as they would be in PvP (though there details to sort out regarding Vaal skills and Animate Weapon/Guardian). Again, we reserve the right to balance things to make them fun.

No, though updates to skills might. If you ever update your Grandmaster, of course, it can change, too.

It will be mostly waves, but there may still be some 1v1 also.

please dont nerf the grandmaster builds much.

in fact dont nerf them at all if you possibly can.

these people have contributed greatly in order to receive this
honor... if the builds are magnificently strong then so be it...
let them have their fun ITS ONLY ONE MAP. forget about balance.

if the grandmasters are way too strong serve them up one at a time
see how many can be beaten. why should it be easy? its only ONE MAP.

I really cant wait to hear of the madness when this map first gets

such an awesome idea... don't fear balance implications because it is
only one map. if its "unbeatable" then so be it. design the map so one
can enjoy a degree of success if not total victory.

Would it be possible to reconsider the naming convention? I'd much rather battle against "Spartacus, The Bringer of Rain" than SpartacusTheBringerofRain or "Spartacus_The_Bringer_of_Rain"
