when i summon my spectres i swap it in there. then i switch it back to zombies. thanks for that tip. it makes big difference.

yeah, i use that spectre setup with the flame sentinels right now....it's crazy fast at clearing maps. can't use my 6L yet so i haven't tried the burned miscreations.

BTW, wouldn't GMP/LMP or Chain be better then culling strikes?. Chain is ridiculous every fireball forks then those forks can also chain. Sometimes it makes the fireballs bounce on the same target multiple times.

your gear is very good. I think that was the same exact helm I was trying to bid for. I also want a 5-linked but am looking for a armor that is ar/es hybrid.

Your belt has great resist but hp is also an important stat. Same thing with your rings/gloves try to get a resist hp hybrid.

Its up to you but I dropped sidhebreath. I felt like that stats wasn't good enough vs a good rare ammy. If it was something like + 40%+ minion damage I would reconsider.

1k hp has got to be a scary experience =P. One mistake and your dead. Maps with a lot of charging mobs like Rhoas or blackguards and also leap slammers like goats would insta gib you. not to mention the terrifying rolling incinerator golems =X(that have a tendency to desync). Also anything that can penetrate your army (projectile wise) alchemists, snakes can end up hitting you and you will die. That is just my opinion on Midnight you sacrifice too much for that one extra spectre.

yeah, im kinda digging the terrifying experience lol, i level up and then try some maps before i have any exp to lose.....

my goal is to get my other gear good enough to justify the MB and sidhebreath...then whe i really need to get serious swap MB/SB for rares. I haven't even shopped for rings yet...kinda want to get my armor situation figured out and then see where the rings can fill it in.

EDIT: im going to swap that flask mama node to the +12% mana one.

Currently have capped resists even before purity. Except chaos which is negative 23.

I'm sitting at 1650hp after the -30% from MB . Instant potion is a lifesaver lol.

Have nearly 3k mana. Stacking 6 auras, might swap vitality for haste.

Wrath, discipline, vitality, anger, purity, clarity, ( I need a green socket in those gloves. ..) haven't tried blind on the skeletons yet.

I like chain on the flame sentinels. ... But adding gmp might be to much of a dps loss.

I'm not really taking advantage of that shock status, I might drop arc/elemenlal pro/wrath and try cold damage on my zombies with cold damage aura to see if it chills the mobs for a bit more survivability. Maybe a third curse. Temporal chains? Or flammability for total resistance nerf.

you were right, getting to 2khp has really increased my survivability. I ran 30 maps yesterday and never died. lvl 66-71 maps.

lovin' it. just hit lvl 75 and can't wait to get to 80 =P

Just note down the names, they're pretty memorable when you run across them.

Flame Sentinels are in Solaris Temple lv1/2/3, Tentacle Miscreations are in Lunaris Temple lv2/3. Both areas are in Act 3.

EDIT: Undying Alchemists are probably the next best mobs, Act 2 Sewers.

There is two parts to using a offensive spell(arc + proliferation ) as a summoner

1. shock stack is easy as long as u get one or two shock stacks in a group of mobs the shock will spread

2. offensive spells direct your army to attack the target you are attacking. They tend to run around aimlessly when your not attacking the monster.

Yeah 2k life should be enough to survive, there are still some things that can take you out in one shot

3rd curse should be damage if you find that map easy or enfeeble/temporal if your having difficulty (possible equip switch needed)

I have some trouble finding the right support gems for spectres. Atm I go with Minion Damage, GMP and Life on Hit. But I am not sure if its better to use Life Leech instead of Life on Hit?

K, i swapped GMP out with faster projectiles.

so im using
(wrath is 20% minion damage when I summon them)

I find that mobs die much faster with faster projectiles than with gmp. give it a try and let me know if im crazy =P

Just hit 76.

I'm not sure what to do with my points form here on out... so, im dumping them into the 8% mana nodes and im going to respec them based on what is missing from my IIR/IIQ set. or, at level 84ish respec into those reduced mana nodes and get another % based aura to stack.

What lvl maps are you running with this build? my arc summoner was very similar to this build, but I had to rework her when I started doing 74+ maps.
