Hello Raiz, what is the best way to fight monsters/bosses who deal lots of chaos damage? I carry an Enfeeble gem in my weapon swap for these kind of situations but i haven't tried to fight one of those chaos damage dealing bosses yet, because i have no chaos resist on my gear. And with -60% chaos resist chaos damage can wreck you easily, no matter how tanky you are. And getting chaos resist on gear is really expensive, especially when you already need life, mana, manaregen and resists from your gear.

Just wondering if anyone can check my math and tell me how PoE calculates degen etc? Wondering if, instead of going for Master of the Arena for the 1% regen we need to run an IF Righteous Fire, we could instead go for Arsonist and drop some of the Duelist area? And seeing we're right next to it, we could take the Champion of the Cause cluster for 12% Aura Buff and drop the path to Athlecisism depending on how PoE calculates increased effect? Example tree here : Passive skill tree build If my math is right, we need >12% regen to run a IF Righteous Fire with 89% Fire Res. Fire Res = 75 + 8 (RoF) + 1 (Barbarism) = 84% So we need 5% from our PoF. With the current tree we get 4% (Lvl 20 PoF) x 1.26 buff effect = 5.04. I'm pretty sure PoE rounds down so thats the 5% we need to get our 89% resistance? With the new tree I propose and the aura effect nodes we instead have : 4% x 1.21 = 4.84 which doesn't get us to the 5%. However, we also have 12% Aura Buff effect which should then get us the rest of the way? 4.84 x 1.12 = 5.42% which rounds down to the 5 we need? However I don't know if PoE first takes the 4.84% and then rounds that down to 4, then multiplies that by 1.12 which is nowhere near the 5% we need? Hopefully someone knows the answer to my stream of math? Thanks to anyone that can help. |

" Yes i use one atm with my build, works fine. " What you can pick is Geofri's crest great crown. It has the following stats: top role: 225 armour 67 energy shield +1 level of gems in this item 80 armour and energy shield increase 20 fire resist 20 cold resist 20 lighting resist 30 chaos resist thing costs a few chaos orbs max. You got a 35+ chaos pot, if needed which already brings you up to +5 chaos resist probably more then most people got. If you want additional more chaos resist you can get it on any item you want really. The build really isn't that restrictive, you got boots / gloves / helmet / 2 rings / neck where you can put a ton of resistance on. you can cap your resistance easily to be honest. Raiz i watched your stream a bit, but i noticed that you do not use defiance cloak, what cloak do you actually use on the stream with the build?

" I wondered- how do you sustain your mana, specially considering you don't pick Batle Rouse on the tree (by the way- why? It's just 3 nodes, and more mana can't hurt, right?) Tho I still didn't pick Mana Flows- maybe that would help, but not really sure.. Maybe you can take a look on my gear and point what I'm lacking, please? Atm I have like 550 unreserved mana, and as soon as I'm anywhere near big pack of ranged mobs/hard hitters I start to run out of mana to cast my incinerate. Maybe I should swap faster casting for mana leech in my 5l? Can sustain my RF, even tho I got rid of 1 hp reg node to get that Battle Rouse node, it helped, but not enough, sadly
