You get the extra 1% fire res on your PoF for the Buffs from inner force and athleticism.

You get Blue flame from a micro transaction.

is the extra slot worth 2.5ex for fire penetration? on beyond

First, great build!!! i've enjoyed it too much playing it (lvl 83 now). Just a question... u said LMP/GMP is personal preference but i saw u always play GMP on videos.... have u any reason to choose GMP over LMP for this buil?? I'm leveling with LMP (just because i have LMP leveled), and im leveling GMP too, but not sure what to choose. TY

My guess would be that tooltip dps takes into account the crit and shows up wrong since incinerate doesnt do any crit.

GMP is nice for bigger crowds, it also shotguns, you you still hit single targets with multiple incinerate streams.
I am playing around with both a bit and so far i just like the ease with the greater area on gmp better. If you have both just give both a try for a bit :)

Everthing is personal preference... but when you do the math, GMP clearly wins. Because of the shotgun effect, any mob can be hit by all Projectiles (LMP x3, GMP x5). Just read the Tooltip DPS and multiply by 12 (LMP) or by 20 (GMP) to get the real shotgun DPS.

Fire pen with quality can give you a damage boost of about 45%. But it will also increase your mana use a bit.
You really start to notice fire pen on harder resistant packs in maps, together with elemental weakness curse fire pen will decimate them much faster. Normal packs will get hit harder too since if they dont have resists the damage will be added on top.

Another added bonus of the 5 link would be you could swap life leech in and out on that red socket easy.
As it is now with my 4L i have to recolor it or use fire pen instead of faster casting, which is a little bit less effective.

Is it worth 2.5ex? I guess if you want to play this build further on and into higher maps to farm, yes it is.

You did something wrong :o Check your skilltree to see if you took all those life regen nodes etc. Check out your fire res, to see if it's high enough. Something must be off :o

I am level 75 and I am having no problems what so ever.. (I don't run Inner Force yet tho)
