[1.2] Kionn's DualStrike Marauder | Atziri Viable | 78+maps fast clears

I have 516 total mana. This means i can only leech a maximum of 64mana per second.

I would say i use roughly 100-150 mana per second. Thats why i cant leech my mana back.

Correct me if im wrong though....





On another note, i dont think cyclone tooltip has been fixed. I do MUCH more dps on a 40k cyclone than i do with a 52k Dual Strike

That's why I go for a combination of reduced mana cost, mana regen and mana leech.

I never calculated this.
But I was always annoyed by the Blood Magic gem, as it always comes at the cost of a 40% more damage multiplier. Like added fire, melee damage on full life, crit damage... you usually have to drop one of these to use the BM gem.

So I started to build my characters on mana, and it works for every attack that is not super-expensive (like cyclone), with very mininmal gear and skillpoint investment.

With Soultaker, it's the same story.
You are reducing your damage by using a 290DpS weapon (if it is high rolled), that could probably be a rare 350-450DpS axe for the same amount of exalted orbs. Or, if you are not limited (like I am), it could be a mirrored 550 DpS axe.

Yes, you no longer have to deal with mana.
But mana isn't too complicated to work with (again, Dominating Blow and Cyclone are different stories).

Its just way too much effort and requires very specific gear to run Dual Strike off mana. Becuase mana leech can only leech 64 mana per second, you're going to need at least 800-1k mana to sustain it.

Mana leech gear doesnt make a different. 1% is more than enought o cap it.

Im using this build currently with cyclone, well not yet, need more levels. The tree is non relevant to cyclone and i think overall is an improvement over going into the scion area. Its a bit less life but the damage is way better. If you are using soul taker you might aswell get the 4% reduced mana reservation node so you can run HOA on top of your hatred and grace (needs lvl 20 reduced mana though).

Not only health but you will lose a lot of armour and attack speed.

I don't like unwavering stance . not worth it.

In the title you write Atziri viable, did you kill Atziri and the Trio, and in case was pretty hard or doable?

I am starting to play again after almost 1 year, and cause I have all my points resetted I would like to know if a dual wield build is doable (I used to have a similar build to this one) or if it's better going for a 2H build (time ago was better than dw).
My char is lvl82 but with not great gear (no Soul Taker nor BoR), just a 5L chest 1700AR and weapons 291pdps&253pdps.
