" Crit. Damage is a respectable choice, and could certainly replace either Added Cold or Faster Casting in my setup with similar results. I've played with this a bit and DPS is certainly higher when replacing Faster Casting, but generally slows clear speeds as FC really helps dispatch white and blue mobs quickly where Crit Damage is just more overkill. Rares and uniques are of course dispatched with my GC setup. Conc. Effect is another interesting decision point. The damage boost is definitely impressive, but the AoE loss hurts clear speed and survivability (as distant mobs become more difficult to freeze/chill). I'd recommend this if you do a lot of full-party play, since damage is generally spread out amongst more players, and high enemy health better justifies the need for Conc. Effects damage boost. For solo or 2-3 player play, I find the massive AoE (which is why I use Ice Nova in the first place) to be something I personally can't compromise on. |

Sorry, no HC version of the build yet - I've never played HC personally so I don't feel I can speak to it with much experience.
I also just updated the build with some major changes - leveled to 91, added a third curse (Temp. Chains) and included Herald of Thunder. Hopefully this helps anybody following the guide. |
