[2.5 Video Guide] Beginner's Build: Dual Flame Totem, Blood Magic Chieftain [Atziri & HC/SC Viable]

Great thanks to author for the build. I didn't read all 80 pages, so don't blame me for the question. Is there any point of taking nodes with life regen % or endurance cry will compensate this. Thx for the answer beforehand.

There is no point in taking extra life regen nodes besides the ones already suggested in the skill-tree. Those together with enduring cry is more than enough =)

Some 10 pages ago I see that you've mentioned that the totem has received buff after lvl 22. Does that mean that if we have a lvl 21 gem, Empower lvl 3 or 4 is a must as a replacement for iron will?

And btw this build progresses like no other without much gear or anything at all. Most of my friends are already jealous, especially when an explosion kills them and im chilling with my totems and moving forwards :D. Many thanks.

With this skilltree you can't wear the advices items due to the lack of int (eg 212 for the wand for 145 max at the end of the passive skilltree). Can anyone can give me items ideas or is it viable to invest 7 more points in int passive ?
I invested one in Ancestral Knowledge for +30 and with 2 items with intel on them I even went @ 243. Now that I am lvl 86, i can drop it or perhaps swap an intel item.

Apparently a lot of the intel nodes come at very late stage (up to 80) at the top of the tree. You'd probably be low on dex as well so I suggest you pick some of it as well. For me it was a constant juggle between those 2 for a while.

As mentioned a few times, you need to get the remaining intelligence on your gear (rings, gloves, boots amulets etc).

At lvl 35~40 with crappy gear, but still 6 linked totem. The flame totem has 200 DPS and drying very fast which is awful. How are we suppose to play 30~60 lvl when our gear is crappy and our totems are doing pretty much nothing? I dont know if i do something wrong, but im trying to follow this build 100%.

I will suggest NOT follow LiftingCasualBro 100% because it's not optimal way. If you play standard softcore you can use better options.

Most important thing to make that build works is that part of tree:

This is core, backbone of build. 35 lvl is enough to use it.

Never take totem dmg points, they are very, very weak always use totem life & elemental resist.
One good jewel give you same dmg gain as 6-8 points in tree!!!!

If you got totem dying problem buy quality Flame Totem on market:

http://poe.trade/search/unoamasiniinar

On standard league sweet spot is snipe for around like 13 quality ones for 5 chaos. If you check often maybe you get even better deals. Each quality add 1% totem life.

You can upgrade it later, if you sell quality gems to vendor with 40+ quality sum ( like 5+5+7+9+6+10 = 42 ) you will get

and you can use that GCP to upgrade your Flame Totem from 13 up to 20%

Next important thing is use 3 totems, not 2 only. Get Searing bond and use 2 Flame totems and 1 extra Searing bond totem. Like that:

It instantly make your flame totems 33% stronger because mobs get one more target, and proper use can increase overall AOE range like + 500%

Good links for Searing bond:

Last thing: use Fire trap for strang single target dps gain.

Good suport gems:

it's possible to make 9 jewel slot ultimate build, jewels offers very high dps and flexibility

Got pointed towards this guide for coming back to the game after an 18 month break. I am interesting in THC/HC, this still working well for a fresh character in a brand new league? Won't have any currency or basics to start out with. Hoping to start a character that can generate some good currency while not having to overly invest into it.

Haven't played since just after Scion was released, so I might as well be brand new, but not new to ARPGs by any means (yay D2!!!).

What is the real difference between Witch/Marauder/Templar? The video says you do the witch, and then your general guide looks like you use marauder. Doesn't seem huge, just their starter area points or the time at which you get to each area.
