You recommend Apep's Rage for a unique weapon but what about Doryani's Catalyst? would that be better? also I picked up a the three dragon unique helm to get shock instead of ignite is that worth it? is that extra 50% more dmg caused by shock better than the burn dmg?

personally id rather have Doryani's catalyst over apeps rage, it completly complements our bloodmagic. But its 3 exa for good rolls and a 3L.

@81 on Torment and 40 on Bloodlines, finally got to dual totems on HC and ditched melee attacks~

Should I use this or pick up better spell dmg? (leaving out the Apep Rage ofc coz thats more expansive).

Why dont you get diamond skin?, it only costs 1 point

edit: is it possible ignore the flask effect (near witch) - saving 4 points, and get those extra points into totem damage or casting/amour mastery, or even diamond skin. so you can fit in an andvarius?

personally, id rather drop the 30% elemental dmg [idk even if this unique is cheap, definitely expensive as a perfect roll with 4L] for a headpiece with high armor mods, life mods, and the elemental caps you need for more survivability in merciless. I only asked about weapon uniques because all of their affixes are purely dps improvements [ie no +maximum hp on a weapon, only on armor].

In regards to Brutus' lead sprinkler, thats a gorgeous unique [doryanis' still superior in my opinion] because its a guarantee 40% increased elemental dmg. and the only mod you should keep an eye on is attack speed, but its not too important. But considering that you can get a 3 or 4L with a few chaos, its defiantly cheaper and money efficient then doryani's. but sadly its Torment Exclusive, so us standards cant get ahold of it ;-;

The three dragon helm costed me about 5C and its hard to really tell if its helping much.


Also it gives 30% all res so its pretty good for suriviability just sadly its eva XD the key thing I'm wondering is that is shock better than ignite as a status? coz shock makes mob take 50% more dmg does that out weight the ignite dmg and possible def on helm?

and nice to know my Brutus' lead sprinkler is a useful unique compare to all the other crap ones I picked up XD and ya I think doryanis' is better too but this I picked up so its free XD Really considering if want to lvl this up or just keep farming like piety or something to make money to gear other character. Currenly my totem tool tip dps is at like 1.1k at lvl 66. I wonder how much higher it can go and if its going to work for later stuff or I should just farm and gear up something else. Really want to try a GC build looks fun to play XD (mostly coz I hated those boss mob that spam GC at the speed of light)

I recently started playing POE, and quite enjoy the game. I started with this dual flame totem build, which is fun, but I am now level 76 and doing less than 2k dps (tooltip). Upon doing more research, I have been told by other people in game that it isn't possible to clear some of the higher level maps with this build, like Aztiri. Is this true?

I have most of the uniques, except apep's rage, and only use a 4L chest. Will getting the apep and a 6 slot chest, really increase my dmg by a lot?

I just don't want to invest my time into this build, if it cannot complete aztiri. Don't get me wrong, the build itself is excellent, especially for a new player like myself. I just want to beat all this game has to offer. From what I have read, you need 7k dps for Aztiri and 10k dps for Uber Aztiri. Can this build get there? How high of dps can flame totems get? What's the potential?

I dont get diamond skin because that is a potentially wasted skill point if you can get your resistances capped by just using gear. As I say in my video I recommend getting dimond skin while leveling and then speccing out of it later :)
