I'm running double Doon Cuebiyari (1h is huge dps lose in this build!) and went for Tukohama (casting enduring cry manually isn't so bad as I thought). Over 600 strength and 17k dps on 5l with Anger.
My gear for now:

Will flame dash be alot more attractive with a reduced duration gem along with faster casting? Or well nvm right since the duration only refers to the flame trail? :)
Leap slam is another option but probably slower. How does 3 charges at a time work out though with flame dash? |

Tried this today, and it plays horrible even with: Lifesprig, Abberath's Horn, 4 links (FT-FC-CD-FP) and Ancestral Bond. Everything is just slow, running 10 times around packs till they finally die. I'll try to go a bit further for BM and the next few damage nodes, but it's tedious.
Edit: I stand corrected. I forgot the first rule of PoE: If it doesn't work, before you complain, try harder. A few adjustments + Flammability and it actually plays quite nicely now, even before BM and totem dmg. Last edited by Cr4v3n#1308 on Sep 9, 2016, 6:54:24 AM

I am trying a simulair build, but what i see is that i don't have the
right equipment to get that top boost, and don't know how to get it probably i am to low level now at level 22 and the totem gives way to less damage to give up my normal attack that is pretty strong. and kills way faster with a sword, it might change the next 10 levels but i will see how it goes.... |

" It is slow in the beginning, it will drastically pick up after Anscestral Bond and a few of the spell damage/cast speed nodes =) Weekly build guides: Youtube.com/LiftingNerdBro

I have a really quick question. I noticed on the chest piece that there's a support gem not linked. The added chaos support. Is it just there for quick access to carry around and level or does it actually do something when it's not linked?

EDIT
Spoiler
Since several of the new map bosses do massive Elemental Damage and have no problem oneshotting characters with capped resists and 6000+ HP, I've been mapping recently with all three Purity auras up, in order to get my resists to 79-80%. The overall Flame totem DPS with Elemental Overload and Vaal Haste remains over 100k and can easily be sustained, and the extra resistances are a godsend. Here's my gear and gem setups for now :
For those who've commented that the +3 Staff can be really expensive (it costs about 9 Ex to buy and craft, which is still cheap for a 6L endgame weapon), you can use the Realm Ender fated Unique staff. A 6L Realm Ender with Empower lvl 4 can bring your Flame totem gem to Level 27 (only 1 Level lower than my staff), with a decent Elemental Damage Bonus : I've always loved this build a lot, it's in my Top 2 favorite builds of my 2 years playing Path of Exile. When it was played as a Witch a few leagues ago in Talisman, it was the first character I brought over Level 93. I like this Marauder version also, it's very safe and actually much tankier, which means perfect for mapping with all these new hard-hitting bosses that were added in 2.4. I've been playing around with my gear to try and find a way to bring the DPS as high as possible without sacrificing survivability, since T16 Bosses and the Shaper are pretty crazy and I felt my Flame totem Chieftain needed some kind of buff before I try them with it. Now with a few costly tweaks, but pretty much the same skill tree, the DPS goes up to 131,000 (147,000 if you switch Faster Projectiles for Pierce but I don't recommend it), not counting 40% Fire Penetration, and it feels like a Top Tier build. I'm not publishing it as a separate build because it's definitely Lifting's Build with a twist, and credit is due where credit is due. It's nice to know you can go from being a total Noob to being an Endgame Mapping Menace with the same build. :) The 6L Flame totem Setup becomes : Flame totem + Faster Casting + Fire Penetration + Controlled Destruction + Empower (lvl 4) + (Faster Projectiles or Pierce) + Iron Will for a 7L which you get from the Repentance gloves. Here's the DPS screenshot with Faster Projectiles : ![]() Here's the DPS screenshot with Pierce (NOT recommended) :

![]() Here's the list of late endgame, expensive tweaks I've made to bring this build's DPS to 131k. Some of these tweaks (like the +3 staff and Empower lvl 4) are pretty costly, but endgame refining always is :

Here's the resulting Skill Tree (Level 91 for now). I'll be taking life nodes from now on, to get to 6000 HP (I have 5850 HP right now), which is my personal "safe zone" : Here's the gear I'm currently running T15 maps with :

I hope this can be a useful contribution to this build! Lifting has made me enjoy Path of Exile a lot and I've learned tons using his guides, this is a simple way to try and give back. Last edited by Monsieur_Gao#4869 on Sep 17, 2016, 9:33:48 PM
