I'm playing around with Mirage and Volley - they're fun but I'm having MASSIVE mana issue.

Even with leech & +Mana on kill I'm still sucking flasks dry non-stop.

Just hit 40 and I may park this character until more research is available.

I'm mostly going by this build as well, with minor modifications in passives. Currently using TS with recommended supports (got the Tabula Rasa for it just last night) as main skill. Secondary skill is Blast Rain with Mirage Archer; it's not an insane killer, but more of an easy way to get more aoe damage.

Up until level 40 or so I was continuously using flasks as well, but now that I'm at level 65, mana pool management is getting much easier. I can even use both Hatred and Ice Herald (which reduce my mana pool to 133) most of the time on regular grinding when there are multiple targets to hit. Single target fights are pretty much the only situation where I have to use mana potion a few times. One seems to be enough as of now.

And by the way, my bow is an absolute garbage rare I found around level 50. Barely any decent mods on it, but it happened to have nicely coloured and linked sockets for Blast Rain. Having more damage would obviously shorten the fights, making the playing more comfortable and reduce the amount of potion uses needed...

SHould i switch to spectral throw or continue to use this to level. I can't do alot of damage with spectral throw until the end... my tree is garbage right now.
I've skipped vaal pact, at least for now. Level 75 Scion and I'm not missing it. Otherwise I'm using the Scion passive skill tree there now. Note though that I'm playing standard and have a real good bow.

Is there going to be an Update for buidl 3 in 3.1?
New question here. I tried searching, but it is difficult to search within this thread, as it is 1000+ pages long.

I'm playing this in 3.1, am at level 42 right now, and am set up for a 5-link.

My question is what to do with strength and intelligence? The recommended TS setup shows a blue Physical to Lightning Support and a red Elemental Damage with Attacks Support.

Where do I get the strength and intelligence of these gems? Equipment or skill nodes? Do I just use a low-level version of these gems, or do I level them up?

Thanks.

There are a variety of places you can pick up extra Strength and Intelligence.

First there are a number of passive nodes that will provide you with some.

Fury Bolts gives you extra strength, and is already on the planned passive list.
I usually take Primal Spirit (which is not on the planned list) which gives you +20 Str and +20 Int.

Coldhearted Calculation has an Int boost. Trickery and Coordination both have Dex and Int boosts.

You can also take some of the big stat nodes (like Wisdom of the Glade, or Beef) to boost your Str and/or Int now, and spec out of thaem later when your gear can support it.

I usually craft a Hyrri's Bite to use while leveling:
That can be made from a vendor recipe, and includes a big Str and Int buff.

You can also get gear with the stats you need, such as

Finally, Jewels can have stat boosts on them. Jewels aren't the best place to pick up stat boosts, but it is an option.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'
Hey there!
Does anyone have a good PoB link for a ranger raider tornado shot? I'm kinda lost with the delocation of vaal pact and the item i need for resistances cap.

Thank you! :)
I'm playing this in 3.1 and it seems fine to me. The only thing I have done differently is that I haven't taken Vaal Pact. Perhaps I'll eventually get around to testing with it but I'm just not sure it's worth giving up life regen after the nerf to it.

Any viable build with the new Elder Bow?
