Salutations my homies, and homès, my name is Alluminati. Prior to patch 1.2, I've been using a Shadow variant of a Cast on Critical build designed optimally for the WITCH . Since the original author has decided to switch builds, I've decided to bring the build over to the better side. As you might have noticed from the title, this build will revolve around the cancerous Cast on Critical gem, with Discharge as our main source of DPS.

Note: Currently testing the best gem choices for Spell 1, Spell 2, I'm testing to see whether Increased Critical/Concentrated Effect is a better choice vs Flame Surge/Arc

662 * 0.69 = 456.78 Additional Damage


Discharge + Increased Critical Damage @ Lvl 20
(662 * 0.42) * 2.09 = 581 Additional Damage


Arc @Lvl 20
45–854 = 449.5 Average Damage

Flame Surge @ Lvl 20
521-782 = 651.5 + 50% More Damage if Burning
=0.422*(651.5*1.5) + (1-0.422)*651.5
=412.40 + 376.57
= 788.97 Average Bonus Damage

• Cruel: Kraityn (8% Attack Speed Bonus)

For this build, you should look for high ES gears, with good resists. I also suggest getting as much spell damage as you can on your gear, as well as some attack speed on your weap. A high crit chance on your dagger is a MUST for this build, as CoC relies heavily on the innate chance. I suggest getting a hybrid ES chest, the chroming for gem slots will be easier. You may replace maligaro's with an es, resist glove if you need to. In my opinion,the auxium belt isn't a mandatory item, however it is VERY helpful.(the anti-freeze, and mana leech are life savers)

I'm wondering if there's any workaround for not having voll's devotion? I seriously doubt I'm going to get one before the end of rampage. I'm using enduring cry on CWDT for some endurance charges. But I'm still super squishy. I tend to die 1-3 times on easy 67-70 maps. I have 3.3K e-shield, and have followed your passive tree.

I'm going to get auxium pretty soon which will help with the occasional freeze death, but most of the deaths are not from that.

My lightning res is terrible, I realize I need to fix that.

So: auxium, lightning res, more eshield... what else can I do? What flasks should I be using?

Oh, also I run discipline+clarity. I will add in purity of lightning when i get a quality reduced mana.

What's your chance to crit with cyclone?? I feel like discharge doesn't proc often enough, although I have just started levelling cast on crit recently so I know it will proc more often when the gem gets a higher level

The gem level is ultra important & you probably need 80+ % crit chance & 80+% hit chance.
